Meeting Grace

It was a few days later Jacob had been in America for a little while now. He had finally decided to go to the apartment he was going at 5:00 clock American time because then Grade would most probably be home from school by now.

He rang the doorbell to this large apartment it was very posh and well furnished on the outside Grace was living a privileged live probably.

A women in her thirties opened the door. Jacob  she looked like a housekeeper which she was.

"Who are you sir?" She questioned.
"Hello I am here to see Mr Strachan may I come in" Jacob asked politely.
"You may come in and wait he isn't in at the moment his girlfriend is in just come and wait" she answered.
"Thank you" Jacob said.

He followed her inside through the lobby and then into the living room it was quite posh. It was also well furnished there in the room were three little girls one of them Grace. Also a women was in there also it must be Sam's girlfriend .

"Hello" she said wondering who this man was.
"Hi I am Jacob the boyfriend of a Graces birth mother" Jacob explained.
"Okay, hi my names Francesca I'm Sam's girlfriend" She said picking up on of the young girls.
"Hi" He repeated.
"Gonna say hi to Gracie then." She said slightly puzzled.
"Hi Grace" he said turning in the direction of the girls.
"You don't know which one is Gracie do you?" She said with a slight laugh.
"No I don't sorry" Jacob said. Great this was an amazing first impression  he was making  on Grace her sisters and her stepmother.
"This is Gracie" she said pointing to her.
Jacob smiled at her she was really beautiful like Connie she had long hair running down her back all the way it was extremely long and it was in plaits. She was wearing dungresss with a pale pink top underneath. She was wearing a purple bangle on her wrist also. She looked really cute and quite like Connie. She had the same expressions also.
"Gracie say hi to Jacob" Francesca said.
"Hi" she said in a small voice. She was clearly quite nervous.
"Gracie why don't you go and play in your room with Talulah and Minnie?" Francesca said 'Go on girls'.
The girls went off to play in Graces room.
"Are they Sam's girls as well" Jacob questioned.
"Minnie's Sam's daughter Talulah i had in a previous relationship".
"Okay how old are they?" Jacob asked.
"Minnie's 1 and Talulah is 10 a year older than Gracie". She said 'I am four months pregnant at the moment as well' she rubbed her stomach. 'Sam's hoping for a boy'.
'Right okay".

Sam then came in confused with the site in front of him he didn't know who this man was.

"Who is the Francesca darling" Sam questioned putting his arm around her and kissing the top of her head as he greeted her after a long hard day at work.
"This is Jacob, Sam this is Connie's boyfriends" She said 'He said he wanted to see you but I don't really know the full reason why listen I'll go and check on our beautiful daughters and you two can talk'. She kissed him and walked upstairs.
"So why are you here then Jacob?" Sam questioned 'I assume you want to take Grace back to England with you so she can reunite with her mother and live happily ever after'.
"Well yes" Jacob replied 'Can we discuss it?'.
"There isn't really much to discuss Jacob" Sam said 'There is no way she's coming back with you'.
"Why not?" Jacob questioned 'Surely you should ask Grace if she wants to come and make a decision on what she says after all it's her life'.
"Jacob go" Sam said.
Jacob left he don't know what to do why wouldn't Sam ask Grace if she wanted to come and live with her mum?
