Chapter 5

Paige's P.O.V

We arrive at the hotel. Aaron puts our bags on the carriage and we push it into the lobby.

I wanted to share a room with just me and Aaron but he insisted we roomed with Taylor Caniff. I was okay with it since last time with Jc he was in my room as well.

Taylor had these wide brown eyes. They lit up when he laughed. He was crazy. Always screaming and goofing around, but he was fun.

We unlock the door to see a shirtless boy with a blue bandana on. Typical Taylor.

"HOW ARE YOU DUDE? I HAVENT HEARD FROM YOU IN A FULL MONTH!" Taylor's voice boomed.

"And look at you all dolled up, you look great Paige. You and Jc back on? I'm glad your here."

I didn't know how to respond. I look to Aaron. Was he ready to make us official?

"She's actually with me." Aaron finally said. Taylor looked confused but then smiled. "I'm happy for you." He says.

Aaron wraps his arms around me from behind. I felt safe.

There was a knock on the door. "Come in." I say.

Nash, Hayes, Matt and Cameron waltz their way in. Cameron looks shocked to see me, really shocked.

"Paige! I missed seeing you!" Matt explained. I hugged him and felt a warm embrace. "How have things been? Are you feeling better?" I ask Matt.

He goes on and tells me a lot. He's emotionally drained at this point. So many girls are using twitter to get in contact of him for all the wrong reasons. From what he was telling me, I didn't fully believe that all these girls were really depressed. They wanted his attention in negative ways. I felt horrible for him. He feels guilty that a girl actually did take her own life and if he signed on to twitter he would of been able to save her.

I reach over and hug him again.

"So uh, what are you doing here Paige?" Cameron asks.

Everyone in the room looks over curiously. I'm really not that interesting.

I break the long awkward silence. "I'm here with Aaron." I say proudly.

Nash Hayes and Matt pat Aaron on the back and 'dap him up' in approval. Cameron doesn't blink. Seriously, what did he even want from me?

"I'm getting hungry," Hayes says, "Can we go to Lemonade?" Nash pushes him aside. "No I hate Lemonade. Let's just go to Panera." Everyone nods in agreement.

We go into a van. Our windows were down and we were spotted by die hard fan girls.

They see me and look extremely confused. "Wait where's Jc if she's here?" We heard. I roll up the window and change the subject. "Guys I'm so hungry." I lie. I had lost my appetite.

We arrive to Panera. I get a separate table for just me and Aaron. Diagonal from us across the room, Cameron stares at me from his table but still keeping conversation with Nash and Matt.

I get a coffee. I was sick to my stomach. Aaron gets Mac and Cheese in a bread bowl. He was such a messy eater. It was cute.

I take my napkin and wipe cheese off of the right corner of his lips. "Paige you don't feel uncomfortable do you?" I did. But he was having so much fun. This is his job and he loves what he does. "I'm fine. I'm happy to be here."

"Are you excited for tomorrow?" I ask. Tomorrow is the first day of this Magcon.

"Yes, I'm really happy to be here." He smiles. "I'm going to the bathroom I'll be right back." I speed walk to the bathroom because my phone has been buzzing.

Cameron D: stop avoiding me. We need to talk.

What was there to talk about. I text him back saying,

To Cameron D: about what?

He replies fast.

Cameron D: us.

Us? What about us? I walk out of the bathroom and walk by his table. He doesn't miss the opportunity to grab my ass. I don't even look back to acknowledge him.

I grab my bag as I'm ready to go.

The car ride back to the hotel was awkward as fuck.

Aaron's tough hand held mine. I was happiest when I am with him. I don't need a guy like Cameron fucking it up for me.

Taylor, Aaron and I get back into our hotel room. "I'm tired." Taylor says as he hops into his bed.

I kept thinking about Cameron even though I didn't want to. I was interested by what he meant by, "us."

I look over and Taylor is sound asleep already.

Aaron slips off his shirt. And jumps into bed with me. "Paige?" I look up into his soulful eyes. "Yeah?" I say. "I can tell something is bothering you." He says stiffly.

"Oh, I just miss my family." I say. He looks to me. "You don't have to lie to me. You can trust me." He says. Aaron puts his arms around me.

I decide to confide in Aaron. I hand him my phone and show him Cameron and Is texts. He seems upset. Much more upset then I imagined. "Your going leave me for him..." His voice cracked.

I get angry with him, "Aaron why don't you think I'm faithful?" I pull myself out of his arms and move my body to the edge of my bed.

He pulls me back into him, "Paige, Cameron is better than me. I'm just-I'm insecure okay." He admits.

I hold his chin with my left hand and put my other hand on his right cheek. I kiss him slowly. "You are perfect to me." I say between passionate kisses.

Did we rush into this too fast? I don't even know. I knew my feelings for him were real. Sadly they were too strong to ignore.

Cameron's P.O.V

I was so confused when I first saw her. Did she really go from Jc to Aaron that fast?

What was so special about Aaron anyway too? I'm the obvious choice. I bet she's just playing hard to get.

She finally texts me back around 4:45.

Paige Monroe: sorry I just woke up.

I text her back as fast as I can.

To Paige Monroe: meet me in the lobby at 5:15.

Her read recipes or on. So I know she read it. Now I wait.
