"Trey," a distant voice called.
"Dad?" I asked.
"Trey!" My eyes shot open.
"Dad, you're okay," I embraced him. He didn't react, just stood there confused.
"Trey, I was talking to you and you just went blank," he said. I looked around the room we were in and it seemed like it was morning of a school day.
"Why even bother," he turned around.
"No dad wait, what were you talking about?" I asked."School Trey, I'm talking about school," he exhaled. I can't believe he's okay he doesn't even has a single scratch on him
"What about school?" I asked.
"You just said that you're not going to school because you don't have a pen, and then teachers ask you why you came to school if you don't have a pen," he said.
"Dad, come on. I can buy a pen on my way to school, why would you say such a thing?" I asked. I don't remember myself saying that but it's something I would say. So I'm not in the past.
"You just said that," he glared at me like I was losing my mind."No I didn't, I love school, I love teenager's and I tolerate and respect educators, old age is catching up dad," I went upstairs.
"Trey?" He called.
"Yes dad," I looked at him.
"Are you okay son?" He asked.
"I'm fine dad, glad to see you alive again. Thank God huh?" I ran upstairs.
I just realized that this was my second chance. Don't mess this up Trey.
I fell on my bed.
"You won't mess this up," a voice said.Of course it scared the nuts out of me.
It was Angie, I mean Delilah, Angie?
"Angie is fine," she said.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I came to see you Trey," she walked to meet me.
"What you and your mom did to me was pretty messed up!" I exclaimed.
"I'm sorry," she apologized.
"You lied to me," I said.
"It was for the best," she said causing me to chuckle.
"Best? You made me think that you were an Angel of God," I said."I am," tears streamed down her face with every blink.
"Really, collector of lost souls that need to be punished?" I asked.
"Don't say that," she cried.
"Really Angie or should I say Delilah?" I asked.
She was about to speak but this was my turn to speak now, she lost hers when she lied to my face."Your name suits you, you know that right? Delilah from the Bible, she betrayed the one she loved, you betrayed me!" I yelled.
"Trey please,"she reached out to me.
"Don't you dare touch me," I backed away.
"I can't believe you," I sat down on my bed.
"I understand, I just want to tell you that I'm leaving, for good. Going to the under world, that's the deal I made with my mom, you get a second chance to fix everything and go to a better place because you deserve it and I deserve no good," she said."Goodbye Trey," she touched my shoulder.
"Wait," I held her hand.
"I'm not done with You, you lied to me, you pretended to be something that you're not, for all I know you might have faked everything, the kiss, was that Angie or Delilah?" I asked.
"I'm going Trey," she said.
"Don't you think I deserve the truth, do you have true feelings for me?" I asked.
"Wait, this time I want to hear it not from your mom but straight from you," I said."I loved you Trey, with all of my heart. I thought you were funny when everyone rolled their eyes at you, I cried with you every night when you went to bed, I shared every moment with you, loving you, I still love you Trey," she confessed.
"But you still lied to my face," I smiled.
"I'm sorry," she said.
"Forgive others so that you can be forgiven too," I quoted her words. "What was that?" She asked.
You heard me I thought.
"On earth we just say it's okay," she smiled."It's okay, I forgive you," I embraced her and she cried, like heavy. Real tears.
"What's wrong?" I held her tighter.
"Thank you," she cried.
"Don't mention it, now you don't have to go," I wiped her tears.
"You don't get it Trey, a deal is a deal," she said.
"There must be a way," I said.
"There isn't," she said.
"There must be, you don't have to leave now, now, right?" I asked."The sooner the better," she said.
"You're really not working with me here, I have all the time in the world and you don't," I exhaled.
"Trey, I don't know how to say this but," she paused.
"Spit it out," I said.
"I'm sorry but you're still going to die," she said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You're back on Earth just to fix things so that you can go to a much better place," she said.
"How long will that take?" I asked.
"She gave you a week," she said."She gave us a week," she said.
"I'm doing this with you," I held both of her hands.
"Okay," she smiled.
"Okay?" I asked.
"Yes, someone once told me that I should take risks," she smiled.
"Someone very special hey?" I winked.
"Someone very, very close to my heart," she stepped closer to me.
"Take me to hell with you," I suggested.
"Love doesn't exist there," she cupped my cheeks in her hands."Nothing is impossible with Trey Young," I smirked.
"Are you ready to leave badboy villa?" She asked.
"I guess so," I said.
"Shall we?" She asked.
"I'm glad you came back," I embraced her.
"I'm glad you forgave me," she said.
"Now I don't want to see you ever cry again, look at you. Your eyes are so puffy it's disgusting," I shivered.
"Heaven remember? You need to be good Trey," she smiled."This is so going to be hard," I exhaled.
