“Hey, what’s up?” Harry asked. He cupped Tamara’s cheek and turned her face gently, forcing her to look him into the eye as he waited for a response.

“I dunno,” she replied and shrugged and pouted a little at that.

Harry sat down next to her even though the small sofa chair only offered space for one person. He shifted her by holding onto her hips until she sat in his lap, her back resting against the arm of the chair and her legs falling down beside his own. “Come on,” he murmured and pressed his lips to her shoulder, “tell me what bothers you.”

Again there were those butterflies tumbling around in her stomach, even though it had been months since Harry had first kissed her but it still felt so… amazing and wonderful. It was a miracle to her how she could still feel so utterly in love with him after all this time but with his hands around her hips, his head resting on her shoulder and his big, green eyes looking up into hers from beneath long lashes, she couldn’t find herself caring about it. She also couldn’t help the small smile that grew immediately on her face, lighting up not only her but also Harry’s features, causing another kiss by him, this time on her cheek.

“It’s because of Melanie,” Tamara sighed. “It sucks when one of your closest friends can’t even remember you, you know? I mean, we’ve been through a lot together.”

Harry nodded his head, his chin not allowing any air between their skin as he kept his head on her shoulder as he did so. “I can’t even imagine what it must feel like. I’m really sorry.” Another kiss was brought to her cheek, just because he loved seeing her reaction – her lips twitching slightly and her cheeks turning a little darker every time he let his lips come in contact with her skin. “But I’m sure she’ll regain her memory soon.”

Tamara frowned at that and nodded, “I wonder what will happen then. I mean, I still don’t get why… they… I don’t know.”

Harry sighed, blowing hot air onto his girlfriend. He grinned a little as he noticed her shivering at that and nuzzled closer into her, his nose rubbing against her neck. “Me neither. But I know it won’t happen to us. I love you.”

Even though it wasn’t the first time she had heard those words, it still made her heart flutter a little in her chest. These words, spoken by his mouth, meant so much more to her than she would have ever imagined and she knew Harry just loved hearing her say it back. So she did, “I love you, too.”

Another kiss was pressed against her neck and then he looked up at her, which was an unusual position, considering he was more than ten inches taller than her. His long lashes were throwing shadows on his blushed cheeks and he just couldn’t take his eyes off of her, causing her to gaze back into his eyes as well. It felt like they were drowning within each other’s gaze as suddenly they jumped at the vibration of the girl’s phone.

She sighed as she pulled it out of her pocket but Harry grabbed it, before she could read the caller ID, and put it on the coffee table in front of the sofa. “C’mere,” he murmured quietly before he held her face in both his hands, closed his eyes and leant in ‘til he felt their lips touching. His hands slipped down her body, stroking her arms, until they were on her hips and he pulled back to look her into the eyes. “I want you,” he whispered with a raspy voice before he leant in for another kiss, holding her close with his hands on her hips. “Is that okay for you?” He asked in a whisper and looked at her carefully, as if he actually expected her to say no to an offer like this.

She smiled widely and couldn’t help the small chuckle falling from her lips before she timidly pressed her lips to his for a second with darkly reddened cheeks. “What do you think?”

He shifted his hips against hers a little, tightening his grip on her as her phone started vibrating once again.

“Ignore it,” he whispered, “please.”
