Big cities
I've decided I really don't like big cities.
I don't like the hustle and bustle of the millions of people wrapped up in the town.
I don't like the flashing lights everywhere you go.
I don't like the sky high buildings piercing the sky everywhere you look.
It's all too much.
I look any direction and there's something new.
Something else.
Its so overwhelming.
At every corner there's something new.
Something else.
Everything is so compact.
So close.
I feel contained.
There's no open space.
The only way you can see up to the blue sky is tainted by a piece of industrial equipment.
A skyscraper blocks every view you try and find.
There's something everywhere
Something anywhere.
And somehow it makes me feel anxious anywhere I go.
Because there's no easy escape,
And there's so many places to get lost.
