This is a prequel/spin-off of my other story With All My Heart which is already completed. It's set after Chapter 1 but before Chapter 2. Cammie and Zach are engaged (finally) and living a normal life, or as normal it can be when your a spy. Rachel as Joe have taken a "vacation" together, meaning they've gone on a mission and need someone to watch over the Gallagher Academy and Blackthorne Institute. Their first choice was obviously the newly engaged couple Zach and Cammie. While the respective leaders of the school were away, they decided to do another exchange between the two schools. To make the exchange a bit more interesting they set it into a competition. Now add two Extremely competitive spies (ok technically 1 spy and 1 assassin) It's Gallagher VS Blackthorne. Who will win? Can Zammie make it through the competition or will their competitiveness drive them away?

The song on the side is called Battleships by Daughtry (and was the part of my inspiration to write this story.) Warning this chapter is not heavily edited.

Battleships

Chapter 1

The wind blew gently around her as she hurried to get inside the Gallagher Academy. The day was warm and she was sad she couldn't spend more time inside.

Cammie was late and her mom was going to kill her. She specifically told her daughter to arrive on time. Plus it was her own idea, it would look bad if she was late to that. Thankfully with her knowledge of the bast secret passageways she was able to make it only a few seconds late. (Yes she was counting).

Despite a disapproving look from Madam Dabney she was let off easy.

"Come on Squirt you have to go up as speak now. The boys are almost here." Abby told her pushing her into the Great Hall. Cammie stumbled and squirmed under the eyes of her fellow sisters. Oh how she wished to slip into a secret passageway and go away from all the stares. It wouldn't be hard for her to blend into the crowd. She wasn't called the Chameleon for nothing.

Cammie made her way up to the podium where she cleared her throat and cursed Zach for making her stay up last night to play Mario kart. She knew he would get too competitive which is why she stayed up to kick his butt repeadingly.

"Welcome my sisters of Gillian. As you know I am the acting headmistress until my mother returns. Now to what you've all been wondering.Today we have something new we want to introduce to you. Some of you may remember an exchange we had with the Blackthorne Institute a few years back. It is my pleasure to invite them once again." Abby gave me the signal telling me the boys were here. "Let's give them a warm welcome." And with that said the doors opened letting in a crowd of teenage boys on black being led by none other than Zach Goode. Subconsciously she touched the ring on my right hand. They were getting married soon and the planning was laborious, she desperately wanted to give in to Macey's begs of planning it herself, it would make things easier on her.

Zach winked at her as he was halfway through the Great Hall. Cammie rolled her eyes at him. Ever since he found out about the idea (via Solomon) he never stopped hinting that he would win. Obviously Cammie believed he was wrong and this contest would prove that. The Gallagher academy will win, no doubt about it in her mind.

At last the boys stood to the side and Zach stood next next to her grabbing her hand. She gave him a quick peck on the lips before turning to tell the rest of the girls about the competition.
