Allen let out a breath of relief once he arrived home. The storm had just gotten ten times worse about half way home, and he ditched his umbrella to carry the child.

As he kicked of his shoes he came to the realization that he had no idea what he was doing. How was he supposed to heal the kid up? The kid looked like he was on the verge of death and Allen only knew basic first aid. He began to panic as he walked in circles, he did not want to be responsible for a death.

Taking a deep breath he tried get a clear mind and think. Once he was calmer he carried the kid upstairs to the bathroom. A bath would probably be appropriate to get off the mid and grime.

He settled the boy onto the bathroom rug as he put on some hot water and let the water rise.  He left for a moment and returned with a fresh towel and some old clothes that were never thrown out. The boy was still out cold.

Taking off the ruined clothes he put the boy in the bath and began washing away the dirt. A few minutes into the bath the water was already a murky brown. Allen was in disbelief, he had no idea fur could hold so much dirt. He quickly drained the bath  and turned on the showers instead.

After a good hour the boy was clean and clothed. He was still out so Allen settled the boy into his bed. He brought an extra blanket just in case the kid got cold.

As the kid slept Allen cleaned himself up as well and went to look for something to eat. He was once again faced with the crushing reality of an empty fridge. He was really starting to wonder of rescuing that kitsune was worth it.  With a heavy heart he settled with eating waffles leaving a few in the box for the kid.

Just as he fell onto the couch the doorbell rang, twice. Who on earth would be out there in this weather? He begrudgingly stood got up from his comfortable position to open the door.

"Hello Allen~!" Keith sang once the door opened. Allen groaned, once again Keith was there. Keith only grinned and held up a black object towards Allen. "I just wanted to give this back to you, here!" he grabbed Allen's hand and placed the object in his palm.

Bringing it up to examine it Allen was shocked to find that it was his umbrella. He was thankful, it was the only functioning one in the house. "Than-wait! How did you know it was mine?" As far as he remembered he was the only one out there when he dropped it. Unless Keith was a psychic then he shouldn't know. There weren't any indicating mark on it, the only person who'd have their name on an umbrella was Ophelia.

Keith cocked his head to the side and gave him a puzzled look. "I dunno, just a hunch I guess. I find it easier to track things that are wet so maybe that's why!" Keith didn't find it weird and went on to more casual talk.  "Well anyways bye, see you later!" He waved goodbye before running off.

Allen watched Keith run across the street before realizing that Keith had no protection from the rain. Just a tank top and short. Before he could dwell on it more a few bumps came from upstairs. It seemed like his guest had woken up.
