For once my usual tired facial expression broke into a amused smirk
"Haven't you heard the saying don't judge a book by its cover 'dear', sometimes the most calm ones hide the most secrets and sometimes the most defenseless are the most deadly" I commented with firmness

Making the girls chuckle beside me and Leonardo to just grin with an impressed raised brow.

Then they focused there attention to look at Sabrina, just for her to stare back at them in confusion
"What!?" she asked confused as to why they were staring down at her.

Dylan-"What's your name darling?"

She sighed in annoyance, clenching her jaw in the process and said "I'm Sabrina...and Dylan watch it!, You've been staring like a creepier, reason I don't quite get  along with Playboy's like you. Happy now?"

"Very happy Sabrina my love... but I would love to know more about you, so tell me more " Dylan asked curious, ignoring  the clear jab thrown his way, stepping towards her only for Brec and me to block him from getting closer, making him smirk and step back.

"That's for me to know and for you to not give a shit about" she replied with a big grin on her face.

"A challenge I see, I like that... I accept!" he said winking at her.
Gaining a blush from the feisty blonde yet again.

Huh! Now that was something new, it wasn't everyday you saw the girl flustered or even embarrassed.

After that Peyton decided to ask Brec for her name. She only crossed her arms over her chest, gave them a bored facial expression, while she silently observed them for a bit.

"I have no interest in telling you who I am, unlike my friends here, I tend do not get annoyed easily considering I'm usually the cause of such emotion, so I won't break and besides what's the fun in that? I mean you'll find out sooner or later, Right? Plus my mum taught me something called "stranger danger" and from what I can clearly remember... you are not my friends, your just strangers so why tell you anything?" she finished off with a cheeky smile, with that said and done we left.

For the first time ever, It had been our innocent Brec who had gotten us out of a fret, while she took strides with confidence leading us away.

Sabrina and I glance at each other with pride, while shaking are heads at are beloved friend who had the biggest grin on her face. It suited her really, it has been quite some time since a genuine grin like that made an appearance.

And if three arrogant guys where the cause of it, so beat it. It only meant more quarrels were to come, and I honestly didn't know if that was a good sign or not, or if it was a waited in a sense at all.

But I do admit, having someone push back, and reply to everything we had to say, without no real anger, wasn't bad at all, the banter, the amusement was worth it in a way.

3rd person

It was fresh, and it was certainly new, exactly what they needed, if they wanted to start anew and leave there past behind.

Maybe this would be a start to a good distraction to there problems, a new source of entertainment, a different vision.

Or maybe it wasn't, but only time would tell.

Considering we had missed are first period thanks to some oddly entertaining strangers, which at this point didn't really matter, I was ready to start off my day. Although the sudden tiredness was overwhelming my state of mind again, my comfort zone, my comfort people weren't with me anymore for it to bearable. We had different periods the first half of the day, so I clearly had to deal with it on my own like always.

Second period, Here I come ...
