"Do you guys want to hear a funny story," Lucy said, as she led us through the halls of the hospital.

Not really.

"Well," She started.

Okie dokey then.

"Once, I was in a hospital, and my friend had just had surgery, and then my other two friends, went into the hall, and freaking got into a FISTFIGHT!" She screamed.

The nurse looked at her funny.

"You know what we can't do this here," She sighed.

She walked in front and we all followed her. She led us to one of the picnic tables outside of the hospital. It wasn't a particularly nice day, mostly gloomy and dark. But Lucy did not care.

"Start freaking talking," She demanded.

"She punched me," Cody quickly stated, pointing at me.

"Well, he started it," I protested.

"Did not!" He exclaimed.

"Did too!" I argued.

"Okay, you aren't children. We don't care who started it. Why did it happen?" She asked.

"Because he's trying to worm his way back into ou- Lyss' life." I pouted.

"It's not MY fault that I want to reconnect with her," He whined.

"Well, then you shouldn't have left her in the hospital the first time," I argued.

"I WAS 18," He yelled. "I WAS WORRIED. I WAS PARANOID."

"WELL, I WAS TOO. BUT I STAYED." I screamed.

"STOP IT," Ivy shrieked.

We shut up.

"You know what Lyss would say if she were here right now." Lucy giggled.

"Why are we arguing when we could be pargy-ing," Ivy mocked.

"Argument shmarguement," Cody added.

"Get him some ice cream for that burn, and get me some too I'm hungry," Lucy laughed.

"Why argue when you can eat!" I giggled.

We all started laughing really hard. The tension was slowly fading away.

"Now can we talk about this as adults?" Lucy asked, wiping water from her eye.

"Yeah," I sighed. "I'm sorry for punching you,"

"I'm not," Cody laughed. "Did you hear what I was saying to you? It was way out of line. I'm sorry Bennett."

"I'm sorry too," I replied.

I really wasn't.

"And I guess it's okay if you want to be in Lyss' life again," I added.

Ha, no it wasn't. She could do so much better than Cowardly Cody.

"Thanks. I promise not to run away this time," He said.

Little did we know that someone else would.
