"Are you two back together?" I asked Lyss.
We were back in her hospital room. Lucy, Ivy and I crowded around her.
Cody had just left to get Lyss her Mcdonald's.
"Umm, I'm not exactly sure," Lyss said.
"Because I mean, you just pretended to be," Lucy added.
"And Cody obviously didn't just come back to get you food," Ivy pointed out.
Lyss shrugged.
I sat in one of the chairs. It was time that Lyss started dating again. Preferably not him though. But Lyss and Cody getting back together, if that's what they're doing, reminds me of the last time I dated.
She shall remain nameless, for the sole purpose of I don't want to say it. But we dated for about 2 years, and we split just before grad, which was why I went to grad with Spencer.
Have I forgotten to mention? I'm pan by the way. That means Pansexual. The definition describes it as 'not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.' Basically, it just means I like who I like, whether it's a girl, boy, or neutral, based on their personalities, not looks.
It's a bonus for when the big flirts are talking to me. But coming out? Well, that's been a different story.
The easiest people to come out to were my friends. Who were all super accepting and loving. I think throughout the years I've been called Frying Pan, Pancake, Kitchen Utensil, and multiple others. A couple of my friends were a little wary, but chill.
Then I came out to my parents when I moved out.
"Bennett?" Lyss asked.
"Hm yeah?" I replied absently.
