"Am...Sam...Sam!" I heard Ellie shouting," Oh thank god, you are alright!" she was kneeling down on the ground, she grabbed my waist crying and hugging me, I sat up leaning on one elbow, and petting Ellie with the other free hand. But she was not wet from the water, in fact she did not even have her bathing suit on, nor did the others, or me! The area surrounding looked like a war zone, buildings crumbled, a few things on fire, people of all ages running around with guns in their hands, dressed up in soldier's uniforms. That was what we were dressed up in, with scratches all over us, a few cuts here and there, blood on the ground, from me.

"Ah, I'm fine. A little nauseous though," I said smiling, and looking down at Ellie, then back up at the others. "...But, what's going on here? Were all wearing soldier's cloths not bathing suits, and it looks like we are in a war zone, not by the waterfall," I asked extremely confused with what was going on.

"You must have hit your head. That was at least what two years ago, I don't know, we haven't been keeping track of the time in this caos," Nick said.

Ellie's sobbing lightened up for a second just say "Oh, no you aren't all right!" Then her sobbing just got worse and she hugged me even tighter.

"We should find a passing emergency vehicle they should be coming out just about now, besides the closest hospital tent is too far to walk without another serious injury," Luke said looking around cautiously for an ambulance.

"Wait, whats going on?!" I said.

"We will explain to you once we find an ambulance and get on. We will probably not have time to explain once we get to the HT (HT= hospital tent). They will probably send us away as soon as possible," Ellie said getting up and looking for an ambulance, just then we found one and waved it down.

They got me onto the ambulance immediately. "Alright, so the day that we were at the waterfall was about two years ago, once we got you out of the bottom we figured that you had a minor concussion. Ellie figured that you had a concussion because her mom is a nurse. So right after we got you to your senses we heard an explosion. Then some people came out of helicopters hanging on the ladders coming from the helicopters openings. They asked all of the remaining survivors to gather at the highschool, if you were to far away to walk that you should find a car or bus or something going by and wave it down to catch a ride to the high school. So we caught a ride in someone's car."

"Once we got there they got every one between the ages of 10 and 48 (and as long as you were not pregnant you did not have to come) to come to a certain area and arranged in these sections, one section for more on the smart/techy side, one section for the more smart/bad side like you were going to steal something and get away with it not that you actually were going to but that you could, the more artistic side, the more leader kind, and the more strong side. Then once you got into those groups to divide by age of years. Ellie got into the smart bad section and the second squad. Nick got into the strong section and third squad, I got into the leader section and the third squad, you got into the smart/techy section and second squad. They asked us to climb into a truck based on our section. Then once we got out, we were each brought to different training areas. The smart/techy people would learn how to hack, the strong people would learn how to focus their strength, become stronger and learn combat skills, the artistic people would learn how to heal people, the smart bad people would learn combat skills and how to (emotionlessly) assassinate people, and the leaders would learn a generality of these skills, while learning to govern a group of five. That training took a year, those who couldn't take it were sent back to the MC (MC= main camp) where others were staying."

"Once we were done with training we were assigned to units of five, one person from each section, and all people that were within two years of each other. So we all got into the same squad out of luck, I'm the leader, Nicks the hacker, Ellie is the mercenary, you are the bronze, and Breya is the healer. You'll meet her once we get to the HT. She had to stay behind and tend the MC's wounded. Which means that it's pretty bad if we have to give our own medic to the main camp. So anyway back to the point, the reason that we did the training, and are fighting today was to protect the MC. The remaining population of the Earth who gathered at the MC.

"Each year we get new recruits, the people who are ten come to training each year, the people who are 50 go back to the main camp. And if you can't stand the training you get a year off and then you are trained to become a medic to tend to the wounded in the MC. Once you reach the age of 25 you have the choice to opt out of fighting for 3 years. But you become a cop, you regulate the rules of the MC, unless you are a medic you help out with MC medics. If you live in the MC you farm, so that we the Army -who protect you- can eat in return for protecting you. Some times if you are skilled enough you and your squad of five get special missions, if you complete them successfully you get special treatment, and harder special missions. If you complete enough SM (=special missions) you can get a high rank, we are called scouts, if you get high enough to get special missions you are called a trooper, and so on if you get past special missions. Now if you were part of the first group of people who were 10 through 48 you are called the first generation, we are part of the first generation. If you are younger than that you are the second generation. But once the first year of the first generation turns 59, a new generation starts. Now once you turn 49 that does not mean that you retire from being a soldier. You have to be 50 to retire, or have a serious injury that makes you unable to fight. Now of course if you want to stay in the army all you have to do is get a physical exam, but you can retire whenever you want."

" Any questions?" Luke said once he was done explaining things.

"Well three actually. Number one, are you sure that this Breya, and is safe. Number two, who are we fighting. And number three, I might need a recap once in a while until I get the hang of this, and also an explanation of the laws or rules, both in the MC, and out here," I said. The Ambulance stopped, so we had to get out. Right in front of us was not a tent but a huge building. "Also, isn't this supposed to be a tent?"

"OK, so yes it was a tent, but there were so many injured that we had to ask all the able bodies in the MC who did not run major farms to help build this place. But the name stuck. I will explain the rest of your questions once we get inside," Luke said. We stated our business, who we were, and what we needed. We were shone to the fifth level, and into a private room.

"Here is your room, number 573," the women said who led us there.

"May we please have Breya, we are her squad, and as you know this guy has forgotten this place, so he needs to meet her," Luke asked her

"Sure sweaty," she said. She asked for Breya on a walky talky. "She'll be here in a seck," then she walked away. My squad immediately laid me down in the bed.
