"Uh, are you okay (First Name?)" I ask worriedly. They seem to snap out of it as they wipe the syrup from my chin and kiss my forehead.
"Yeah, I'm fine."

The shrill sound of your alarm woke you up. Without a second thought, you brought your hand down harshly on the snooze button as your eyes glinted with hatred for the small plastic object. You were unashamed to admit that it was the fifth time you'd hit that button, and it was now 9:50 in the morning. Rolling over, your eye caught something that made your blood run cold. Prominently displayed via calendar on your wall, you realized it was April 1st. 4-1-17. As in April Fool's day.
Letting out a shriek if indignation, you scramble out of bed and nearly trip over the clothes lazily thrown over your floor. You grasp the handles to your closet and yank the doors open, pulling on clothes absentmindedly and rushing to your mirror to make yourself look halfway decent for the perils day ahead. Walking to the door, you twist the knob open and push it open. Keep in mind, IT WASN'T EVEN 10:00 IN THE MORNING. A bucket of water, ice water, falls over you and the iron tin hits you in the head as well. You gasp as you become soaking wet and BEN runs out with a camera.
"YES! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THAT!" the soon-to-be-dead hylian pumps his fist in the air. You twitch your head to the side with murderous intent and footsteps thunder up the stairs. Toby grips the railing to the side of the steps and gasps.
"OhmygodBENyou'redead." he says in a rushed exhale.
BEN turns to look at him. "Psh, I'll be fine." when he turns back, you jump on his back and start beating your fists onto his shoulders. BEN runs downstairs screaming 'RAPE!' whilst you continue your assault.
Eventually, Slender pries you off his back with you still swinging your fists in the air rapidly. The faceless man sets you down and scrubs you dry with a towel. The whole time you glare at BEN and mouth 'Watch your back'.

So, Toby had agreed to help you prank BEN. Actually, he practically jumped at the chance to get the midget blond back after years of April Fool's pranks. The prank you came up with was a classic: cling wrap the doorframe to his room. However, your version had a twist. You see, instead of cling wrap, you'd use bullet proof glass and mark off all the entrances to his room. The hysterically part of this all was that he kept ALL his videogames and comics in that room. So, in turn, he'd be like an alcoholic suffering from withdrawal.
The prank started off simply. You got some of Splendor's help since Slender was too above all the childish antics. He held the glass in place while you two secured it in his door and windows. Once you were finished, you closed the door and scampered off to your hiding place.
In no time at all, BEN was at his room. He twists the handle to the door and opens it, walking straight into the glass. He rubs his nose. "OWW!" he whines like a child, causing you and Toby to giggle and share a fist bump. He begins to try and melt it, flames puffing into his palms. He holds his hands up to the glass and sighs when he realizes it was doing absolutely nothing. He tries a couple other possible solutions, but to no avail. By the end he's sitting against the glass and holding his knees, rocking back and forth and murmuring different videogame phrases.
You and Toby straighten up. "Do you think he's had enough?" you ask.
"I think he's learned his lesson." Toby agreed. You smirk and walk over, stepping to the side of him and standing on your toes to undo a small latch holding the whole thing in place. You pick up the sheet of glass and throw it downstairs to the waiting Splendor who halls it back to the store.
"I..It was that easy?!" BEN throws himself to the floor and sobs, crawling into his room and throwing the door shut behind him in defeat. Only a faint: 'FUCK APRIL FOOL'S DAY!' is heard after that, earning an amused giggle from Toby and yourself.
