Hurt, such a vague word,
So many different types of pain,
Never knowing when it comes,
The dull ache of a broken heart,
Loved and lost, forgotten, betrayed,
Biggest of all to love with no love in return,
To sit and watch,
that love bestowed upon another,
Never truly understanding why,
You lost that love,
That is true pain, true hurt.
