Poem-ish

Goodbye

I never knew how much I needed you until you slowly started slipping through my fingers,

I reach for you still but you don't reach back,

You're too far gone and now you have her,

She whispers in your ear and I watch you walk further away with each word that hits you,

I cry and yell for you but you don't see me anymore,

If you ever truly did,

I feel my mind playing tricks on me,

Thinking you still actually care,

But you don't,

A tear runs down your beautiful face,

But why are you so upset after getting rid of such a burden,

Now would be the time to say goodbye but I'm to selfish to let you go,

So I watch you turn your back on me....with her leading the way.
