Part 5

Vandana goes to Karan and said, "You often complain that Arjun never considered you as his dad. But have you ever tried to make him happy? You have taken the most important decision in his life without asking him. How do you expect him to be close to you? I agree that I too have been a part of it. But he has also been cross with me for marrying you." Karan: I have assumed that Arjun loves Saanjh. So I had decided. He is not even in talking terms with me. But you should have at least asked him.Vandana: I had supported your decision but I feel it is not right. He finds his happiness in Maya. I could see the glow after a long time but I didn't consider as her uncle had killed my husband but it is not Maya's or Ashwin's fault. I want to fulfill the duties of a mother at least now by getting him married to Maya.Karan: That can never happen as Ashwin had put down the papers without informing me. He had a high post. We had a direct contact. But he told this to my HR. What is the guarantee that he won't cheat me in future?Vandana: You have been appreciating him when he was working with you. He told me that he tried to contact you but you have avoided him because of his brother. How is Maya or Ashwin responsible if her uncle had killed Arun?Karan: I don't want to talk about it. Arjun-Maya can never happen as long as I'm alive.Arjun comes in and said, "I am not staying here anymore. I have come to ask my share."Karan is shocked. He said, "You will get but for that, you have to marry Saanjh."Arjun: Wow Mr. Karan Sharma. You have proved that you are not my real father. Just wait & watch.He leaves the house and goes to Ashwin.Vandana: I had married you on compromise but I won't allow my son to do the same. I will get him married to Maya.She goes to Maya's place and said, "Arjun, please come home. I will get you married to Maya even if I have to go against Karan's wish."Arjun: What about my share?Vandana: Don't worry about that.Ashwin: I'm happy that you have accepted this relationship. I apologize you on behalf of my brother.Vandana: I understand. I don't have anything against you.Ashwin: If you want, you can join my business.Arjun: Thankyou uncle.Ashwin: You can call me dad from now on.Arjun comes home.Karan: Why have you come here now? I'm not your father.Vandana: But he is my son. I won't allow you to spoil his life. Arjun, go to your room.Vandana is packing up her belongings as she decides to go back to her house, She finds Arun's phone & checks it. The last call was Karan's. She gets the suspicion that Karan might have utilized Arvind to kill Arun & had got away. she decides to leave the house the next day.The next day, Arjun & Vandana are leaving. She said, "Check whether anything is missing." Arjun goes to Karan's room and is shocked to see his dead body. The servant comes to the room to give the cup of tea to Karan. He shouts, "Murder has taken place. Arjun has killed him"Arjun chases the servant & said, "I did not kill him. I myself am shocked to see him dead."Vandana is shocked to see Karan's dead body. She asked Arjun, "What was the need to kill him. I had given you my word that I will get you married to Maya. I was even ready to take you & Ayaan with me & stay separately."Arjun: No mom. I didn't kill him. In fact, I didn't even enter the room unless you told me to do so. Please believe me, mom.Vandana: I'm sorry. That servant has gone overboard. I will confront him.The doorbell rings. The cops come and arrest Arjun saying, "Your servant has informed us about it."The cops take Arjun. Vandana slaps the servant & dismisses him.There is a court hearing. The prosecutor said, "This is the knife in which Arjun tried to stab Karan right?"Vandana: Yes, but he died only today.Prosecutor: How do you say that he has not killed. Do you have any proof?Vandana is speechless as she only remembered a girl screaming when he was trying to abuse her physically.The servant is called. He said, "Yes, Arjun has killed Karan for the property."The court gives Arjun the sentence for 14 years.While he was leaving, Maya cries. Arjun cups her. Saanjh said, "I will never consider you as a killer. No matter what."Arjun goes to jail.
