Lucas POV
I wake up to Max snoring. I open my eyes and see her right next to me, face to face, with her red messy hair and her mouth open. She looks so cute. But it's time to go to school. I look on the window and I see the dark cloudy sky. Then I change my view to the sleeping beauty and I remember, right before we went to sleep I confessed I like her and she did too! So what does this mean? Are we in like some sort of romance? Should I act normal or what? Well, I have to wake her up.

"Max." I whisper, she is still deeply sleeping. "Max." I say on her left ear. I shake her a little and she finally gives signs of life. "Guuuh, no." The red head says angrily. "Max we have to go to school come on." I whisper. "Ehhh? No Lucas no." She says confused and sleepy. "Max!" I shout. She suddenly wakes up and sits on the bed. "What!?" She shouts back. "You sleep like a baby, it was really hard waking you up!" I say to her laughing. She rubs her eyes and smiles. "I'm used to shouts during my sleep, you know, having the best family on the world." The sleepy girl says sarcastic. God I love her.

She goes for her clothes. "Shit, I left my shirt on the floor and it's still wet." She says. "Oh. But the rest of the clothes are dry right?" I ask her. "Yeah. I guess I'll let your shirt on and put my sweater covering it." She says. I nod.

Max POV
We go down stairs for breakfast​, something I don't usually have. Her mom was in the kitchen, doing some weird food? I don't know. I just get an apple. "Good morning kids. Max are you sure you don't want to eat this deliciousness​?" Lucas moms says pointing to the strange food. "Ok." I say as I let the apple back where I took it from. I go next to her and try to help. "Oh no cutie, just sit I will take it for you" She says kindly. I sit. Lucas sits next to me. "Where is Joanne?" Lucas asks. "She went to a party and stayed at her boyfriend's house to sleep." The kind woman says. She brings the food to the table and we all eat together while talking about funny stories. I have never laughed more on my life.

Lucas and I get to school. We get there just in time. We see Will on the middle of a lot of people, he looks sick.
"What is wrong with Will?" I ask Lucas. "I have no clue." He says as we both look worried to each other.

We get to math class, all the boys are sitting in the front as always. "Hi guys." I say as I wave to them. Dustin and Mike wave back, and I don't think Will listened. I sit next to him and Lucas.

The class ends, I didn't pay attention to the teacher. I was just thinking about Will, something is not right. What if it is related to what Lucas told me last night? What if now I'm on danger! I go to my locker. I open it and get my books for next class. Lucas comes running to me, gives me a kiss on the cheek, and goes running away. I blush, smile and laugh. He turns around and smiles.

I see the sick boy tripping to the floor. A teacher comes, helps him get up and takes him to the office.

Bell rings, I go to my class with Dustin. Lucas and Mike go to a different class. Class starts normally. But on the middle of the class we hear a fast car arrive to the school. We look through the window, it was a woman, she seems confused and worried.
