Lucas POV
So now we are running away from my girlfriend's step brother because he just punched her on the face. I should have done something I'm so stupid. I have to let her know I love her. I should be the one protecting her not she to me!

"Hey Eleven and Mike. Come with us!" Max shouts to them when we see them walking to the arcade. They follow us. After some minutes of running, we finally stop and start walking. "Why were we running?" Mike asks. "Long story made short, because my brother is an idiot." She answers. "Don't worry Max, I'll fix it." I say. She looks at me. "No don't. You can't fix it. Don't even try to fix it or I will never talk to you again." She says shouting angrily. Well that didn't go as planned.

We get to Mirkwood. "Now what?" Dustin asks. We all look to each other not knowing what to do. "Lucas can I talk to you alone?" Max asks. This scares me, what does she want to talk about? "Yeah." I say as she takes my hand and we walk away from the rest.

"Lucas why did you lie?" She asks confusing me. "Lie? I didn't lie." I say. She looks at me angry and upset. "Oh, so we aren't dating." She says. Oops. "No no! I mean we are! But I don't know if it's​ the best idea telling the boys yet." I say. "Why not? They are your friends, and you said friends tell each other the truth, they don't hide anything." The beautiful intelligent girl says. "Well, but sometimes you can hide somethings... I think we should keep it to ourselves for some time and then we tell them." I answer her. "Ok." She replies more convinced. "Don't worry it won't be long." I say.

I look to see if the boys can see us from where we are. They can't. I kiss her on the cheek. She smiles. "Before we go back with them, why don't you want me to help you with Billy?" I ask her. "Lucas I told you not to, so don't do it. He is dangerous. He won't hurt me, well he does hurt me but not to death, but he will hurt you to death if you do anything to him. Promise me you won't do anything unless I ask you to." She says looking at me with her blue eyes. "Ok, I promise. But you promise me that you know you can count on me in anything you need." I say. She rolls her eyes laughing.

I start walking back. "Wait wait!" She says turning me back to her. She leans on, and we kiss. Kissing her gives me the most wonderful feeling I have ever felt. I feel so bad for all the other boys that don't have the chance to kiss her, she is mine!

I didn't notice and I don't think she did either, but apparently we kissed for a long time because we heard the boys looking for us. We get off each other. "We are here!" I say as we go back to them.

"Where is Will?" Eleven asks. "At the lab apparently. We should go for him!" Dustin says. Eleven looks at Mike scared. "But it's dangerous. And she can't go back there!" Mike says. "Ok, you guys can stay. Dustin and I are going! If anyone wants to join us?" I say. Max raises her hand. I'm so glad she did that, we really need her for this. "Let's go!" Dustin says. "Be careful." Eleven says. We nod and we leave.

"Have you ever been inside the lab?" Max asks on our way to our dangerous destination. We shake our heads. I think for a second. "Maybe we should tell Hopper so he can come with us." I say. "Yes that's a good idea." Dustin says. We change our destination to the police station.

I'm sorry I didn't write yesterday. I was watching 13 reasons why. That series is amazing, but the last episode is disappointing. Do you watch or did you watch that show?
