Lucas POV
Bell rings. We all go to our lockers, well not the new girl Max, I think she is trying to escape from us, like everyone does.

"So what do you think of the new girl? She could be our friend?" Mike says. "I don't think she wants to." I answer. "Why wouldn't she want to be our friend!" Says Dustin while his X-Men comic fells on his feet. "Yeah, why? Is it my fault? I guess disappearing because I was trapped by a Dungeon and Dragons character and thrown into another dimension, isn't a good first impression." Will says joking but sad. "But she doesn't even know about it, remember no one knows and no one has to know." Dustin reminds us. "Yeah, and it's also not that." I tell them. "So what is it Lucas?" Says Mike. "No one wants to be with us, because they aren't like us, we are just little nerds for them. And no one wants to hang with a nerd." I say the sad truth. "What are you talking about? No one thinks we are nerds! We are just normal teenagers." Mike says. Eleven made him so stupid.

Max POV
"Look, there she is!" "Max! Hi here! I'm your classmate Dustin, I sat behind you on science class!" I hear that toothless boy say. Well I guess I have to go with him, but not for much. "Yeah hi, I remember you it was just ten minutes ago." I say. I don't think he liked what I said, he changed her big smile for a disappointed face. "We are going to play DND after school, do you want to come?" The weak frog says. DND? Seriously? They like that stupid game? I should make an excuse. "I can't I'm sorry, my mom doesn't let me go to house of someone she doesn't know." I say. Ha, like if my mom would care for me at all. Max, you are really good at making excuses! "My mom will be there, maybe she can come too and get to know her." The stupid freckled boy says. Fuck everything on this stupid world. "Well, I guess I'm going." I say trying to show a little smile, but I can't. "See you then!" Says Will.

I can't believe I'm going to play that stupid game with that stupid boys. Max what have you done? Hopefully my brother gets drunk again or something and I have an excuse of not going.

Lucas POV
When school ended Mike, Dustin and I went to Mike's house. Will didn't come, he said he wasn't feeling well. I hope he didn't catch a flu.

Mike is talking to his mom about Max's mom coming. Dustin and I are getting some food from the fridge while Karen is distracted. "Let's wait for Max in the basement." Mike says. We all go the basement.

One hour later, we hear the basement door open. It was the red hair girl. She didn't look happy. "Hi!" Says Dustin really loud. She makes a annoyed face. "Where is your mom?" I ask her. "She couldn't come. She is really busy." She says looking to the ground. "Do you know how to play?" Mike asks Max. "No, but I can just watch." She replies. "Sure." Mike says while he gets the game out.
