Today we're going to the beach with Joey and Chase. It been 2 weeks after we went to Disneyland. My parents are back so no more fun. It's 10:15 and I need to get ready for the beach. I call Alex and ask her what she was going to wear. She is wearing a two piece, so I decided I should to. Later on she called and told me she wasn't going to be able to go because her parents need her to watch her sisters. Chase was going to go help her so he wasn't coming. It is just going to be me and Joey.

I call Joey and tell him the news.

"Hey Joey, bad news.." i said

"What's up.?" he asked

"Alex and Chase blew us off." i said bummed out.

"I don't know if I should be offended or not." he said

"Why would you feel offended.?"

"Because you seem sad that you're going to be left alone with me." he said

"Im not sad about that.." i said

" great then see you in a few." he said then hung up the phone.

I check the time its almost 1:00. I see Joey pull up in front of my house and wait for me to come out. As I step in the car I see Joey smiling.

"Hey Jojo." i say with a big smile.

"Hey Kansas." he said back

"Can I use your AUX cord.?" i asked

"Yeah of course" he said

I grab the AUX and put on Beyoncé "Broken Hearted Girl" (song on top)

We jam out to a few more songs until we arrive at this beautiful beach with beautiful scenery.

"It's so pretty here" i told Joey

"That's why I brought you to this side, no one really knows this place so there's never any people."

"Wow, how did you find out about this place if it's so secret.?" i ask

"I go on adventures too you know." he said

"Im sure you do" i said sarcastically

We put a huge picnic blanket on the sand and we ate watermelon. We talked about life and and what we plan on for the future. I said how I wanted to be a singer someday, and how I wanted to graduate with honors and maybe even a photographer for the time being. We talked about personal things like past relationships, family things. I told Joey how every guy treated me and how they always ended a brake up text saying what a hoe/slut I am. When I was talking to Joey he looked at me straight in the eyes and as I looked in his beautiful brown hazel eyes, I saw a lost soul, looking for someone or something to find it, to love it, or treasure it. He reminded me of myself. A lost lonely person looking for the perfect person.

We walked along the shore and took a mini adventure. Joey took me to this place where he likes to think about life. We took off at around 4:24, and by then I was burned up. We decided to go to "In and Out Burger."
We ate there and after he dropped me off at home, it was already 7 so I decided to watch Netflix. I see a picture on Insta that im tagged on.

After i posted i was getting droopy so i decided I wanted to go to bed so I went to sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about how I felt when I looked in Joey's eyes, how I felt calm, and overwhelmed . I fell asleep with the one person I never thought I would think of, Joey Birlem.
