I wake up very early to pick up my big sister from the Airport, I went since my parents wanted to sleep in. When I picked her up she had tons of bags. I helped her put all the bags in my car and we went back home. She was coming to visit from collage. I went straight to bed as soon as we got back because it was early.
A few hours later I woke up and decided to make breakfast for my family. I made Nutella pancakes with bacon and hash browns. When they all woke up they were happy to see that food was already made. We haven't had a meal all together in a while, so I was very happy to have had breakfast with them.
I was in my room watching 13 reasons why, when I see my sister walk in.
"Hey Kansas" she said
"Hey, what's up?" I asked
"I wanted to do something with you today, you know just us." she said
"Yeah sure where do wanna go.?"
"Anywhere."
"Okay, how about.. The skate park.?" I ask
"Sure yeah the skate park sounds fun!" she said
"Okay well let me get ready, ill meet you downstairs in a few" I said
Once she walks out of my room I get ready. I put a little bit of makeup and change.

When im done getting ready i call my sister so we can head out. We grab our boards and skate all the way to the skate park that's next to the beach. Once we get there I test a few tricks, and end up landing on the floor. I try getting up but I can't feel my ribs. I start to see everything blurry. I can't see a lot, my head is throbbing. I look around, I see a guy standing over me. At the time I couldn't tell who it is but when I meet with his eyes, I then know it's Joey. I hear my Sister calling the ambulance.
"911, what's your emergency?"
"My names Karma, my sister fell of her skate board and isn't responding. It was a hard fall." she said out of breath
"Where are you at right now?" the voice asked
"Valley Nation Park, it's next to a beach"
"Okay remain calm, we are sending an ambulance right as we speak"
"Great, thank you" my sister said still worried
A few hours later I wake up in a white room with Ives on my arm. I then realize im in the hospital. As I slowly rise up, I see Joey sleeping in the chair that's right in front of the hospital bed.
"Joey?" I whisper
"Kansas, you're awake!" Joey whisper shouted
"Yeah what happened, where's my parents, where's Karma.?" I ask really confused.
"It's fine, your family us at your home. I wanted to stay with you, they said it was fine, Alexis and Chase are in the waiting room their spending the night in there." he said
"Oh, well why am I here.?" I asked
"Ill tell you in the morning, get some rest" Joey said
