Its been 2 weeks since the skateboarding incident, Im not skating anytime soon.
Its been a month I haven't skated in a while. I can't.
"Kansas Joey is outside!" my mom screams
"Im going!" I scream back
Joey wanted to take me somewhere, he said it was a surprise. I run down stairs and grab my pursue not listening to what my mom was telling me before I ran out of the door. I hop into Joey's car.
"Are you excided to spend a day with THE Joey Birlem" Joey said
"Err.. Should I be?" I said sarcastically
"Im going to pretend you didn't say that" Joey said
"Great." I said laughing
Once we get off the car im confused to where we are. Joey grabs a bag from the trunk and grabs my wrist and walks in a fast paste.
" Err.. Joey are you gunna murder me?" I ask
"Oh yes im going to the Kansas Campbell" he said sarcastically
We walk into the woods, Once we get to where he wanted to take me he let go of my wrist. I couldn't help but see the beautiful view. I look around and then I see a mini skate park.
"Why am I here, why did you bring me to this abandoned skate park? I ask
"Er.. So you can skate, obviously" Joey said
"You know what I mean Joey" I say
"Look, you love skating, I know you do even if you don't admit it to me." Joey said
"I do love it but, the injury I had was bad, I don't want to go through it again."
"Can you just try, ill be right next to you" Joey said
"But---" I was cut off by Joey
"I already told you ill be right here next to you" Joey said
"Can I trust you?" I asked
"Of course" Joey said
"Promise?" I asked
"Pinky promise" Joey said
Joey pulls out two skateboards from his bag and hands one to me. I get ready to skate with Joey right next to me. I try to do my trick but as I land I fall.
"Kansas are you okay?!" I hear Joey scream
"Yeah im good, but your not going to be." I say
"First you have to catch me" Joey said running away
I chase him untill im so tired that I can't feel my legs. I get the skateboard and try on last time to do my trick. I land perfectly. Im so excited I hug Joey so tight.
"I did it Joey!!" I say happy
"I know you could" Joey said
I look into his beautiful hazel eyes, our eyes lock, why are his eyes so easy to get lost in? I eventually give the board back to Joey and we decide to take a few pictures to post on insta

Joey drops me off at home, we say our goodbye's. I go upstairs and read the book "Everything Everything". It turns 12:15 and im tired from a long day, as I lay my head on the pillow I think about how Joey's eyes make me feel, how joey overall makes me feel. I fell asleep with that thought in my head.
