Chapter II

New Year, new start

During the train ride...

Draco POV

I saw a little girl walking towards me and she saids " The headmistress wants to saw you in the head compartment. Before you ask it's at the end of the train." She left telling me to go get Hermione Granger. I walked and saw her sitting in the Gryffindor compartment alone reading a strange book...

Hermione POV

I was reading "The fault in our star" before Malefoy disturbed my reading by choking and tells me" Granger McGonagall wants to see us in the head compartment. I will lead you." I nodded and he continues" I am really sorry for everything I have done to you and your friends. I shouldn't have juged you because you were a muggleborn. I will understand if you refuse to forgive me. " I really saw the fact he was sincere when he was telling me that. I smiled and respond" I forgive you, I understand that you didn't have the chance to choose wich side you wanted to be. I understand that you followed what your father have told you and that was the only thing you have know. "He smiled and we arrived at the compartment.

Draco POV

I was happy that she forgave me. I feel something really irresistible when I was near her. It's smelled so good. I was at peace and realized:
She was my mate.
Hermione Granger was my mate.

McGonagall told us our duties as head. we can take off points from houses. We have to look around for being sure that no students is out of the dorm after the curfew. I was almost sleeping because the task she gave us are so boring. Hermione keeps me awake because I can't let her go. I am going crazy suddenly she shout"WHAT we have to share a dorm?!"I didn't say anything McGonagall respond"Ms. Granger you should control yourself a bit." I was quite happy because I didn't need to be too concerned by my mate safety. She let us out going get our trunk and stay in the head compartment.

Hermione POV

I have to share a dorm with Malefoy. He apologies for everything, but can I really trust him? Telling the truth I am sincerely happy to share a dorm with him I loved him since the day I punched him on the nose. I feel bad for what I have done.
I picked up my things and put them in the compartment and sat for finishing this book. it was really good. a really sad story between Hazel and Augustus. I was still crying When Draco enter he rushed toward me asking me if I hurt anywhere. I smiled and said " I was only crying because of my book. Thank you for your concern. " He respond" I have to tell you something very important. I am a veela and you are... my mate. "

Draco POV

I told her the truth she wasn't suprised at all. She was happy. She respond" I will do anything to keep you alive Draco. I loved you since third year. I wasn't able to tell you because of Ron. I had to act in front of him. I am really glad. " I was more than happy. I hugged her. I let out a soft purr. I feel embarrassed, but I was happy. She hugged me back...

At the great hall

Hermione POV

I hate to sit far from Draco because I know that if someone touch me it will burns them. I need to see Draco right now...I am not feeling well.

Everything went black...

Draco POV

I saw Hermione fell on the floor. I rushed to her and take her to Madam Pomfrey .I told her our situation. She promised me to tell headmistress. I didn't want to let her go. She was sooo perfect. Madam Pomfrey told me that she didn't had a lot of sleep lately and she was quite stressed. I felt bad because I didn't realize it before...
