[16] River Of Tears

Stings pov**

After dropping rouge off to get his wounds tended too I ran back to check on Lee but when I got there I saw something that would haunt me forever. I saw the master of Fairytail take or I should say rip Lees left eye out.

"LEE!!" I yelled as she roared in pain as I ran to her. She turned into her human form and fell from the sky. I jumped out and caught her. Her breathing was ragged and her left eye leaked blood.

"Come on stay awake! You are going to be alright!" I said while moving a strand of hair from her face. She looked like she was in pain. Her skin was getting paler.

"Get away from her boy! She is a devil! She's dangerous!" The Fairytail gezzer yelled at me while I shot him a glare that made even Erza shiver.

"Lera is not a devil! She's a misunderstood girl who has gone through so much pain! She lost everything she knew and then for the past 7 years I thought she was dead after she went on a mission! So never say anything like that about her ever again or I will be taking on of your eyes to replace hers! You got that old man!" I shouted at the old man with tears rolling down my face. The gezzers face seemed shocked but I didn't look at him any longer as I picked up Lee carefully as I walked off to the infirmary to get her healed up.

"What the hell happened to her!?" I heard the now awake Rouge ask..more like shout at me as I carefully placed her down before grabbing a bunch of medical supplies and started to treat her.

"The old gezzer tore out her left eye.." I spoke to rouge with venom just dripping from my voice. I became quite as I cleaned off the blood and accessed the wound. There was a huge slash across her eye and it went straight threw her eye. It wasn't too deep on the eye but she wouldn't be able to see out of the eye and it would heal fine. Though the straight up and down gash would for sure leave a scar. I sighed as I put a makeshift eye patch over her eye and wrapped up a few of the other wounds.

'She looked like she was in so much pain. I wish I could take it all away, if only I had the magic to do that.' I thought to my self before a year dripped from my eye and started rolling down my cheek. Rouge, Froshe, and Lector sat near by just watching me and Lera. I listened for the ting of the year drop hitting the floor but I didn't hear it. Instead I felt something or someone wipe it away. I opened my eyes that I didn't noticed that I closed and saw Lera smile at me weakly.

"It's ok Sting. I'm awake. And talking. It's ok." She spoke with a raspy voice. Her eyes said she was in a lot of pain but her smile said I'm ok.

"Lera~Chan!" I heard Fuyu. shout before flying to her and landing just beside her carful not tot hurt her in the process.

"Are you ok?!" Fuyu shouted as he held a worried look on his face. His sister on the other hand was smiling because she didn't understand the situation.

"Why are you hurt?" The clueless Yuki asked her. Yuki stumbled up towards Lees shoulder and put her paws on her.

"Mommmy's ok Yuki...I just got in a little fight. I just got a little hurt. Nothing a bandaid can't fix!" Lee said cheerfully. She acted as though Yuki was her kid. Along with Fuyu but he didn't call her mom. She looked so happy even though she could have completely lost that eye. It was barley there. For the sake of her 'Child' she smiled. She looked so happy.

"Mommy will be ok!" Yuki cheered before being pulled into a hug by Lee. Fuyu just watched with a smile.

"Come on Fuyu. There's still space." Lee spoke with a angelic voice as she opened her arm up for his to join which he did with no hesitation. They looked like a loving family.

"Sting." I heard Rouge call me name. I hummed in response so he knew I heard him.

"The knights are coming to take Lee." His voice held sadness and my anger sky rocketed.

"They are NOT taking her! Not after I just got her back!" I shouted back at him as I heard the metal hitting metal as the knights armour made loud noises that echoed through the hallway.

"Rouge..take Lee and the exceeds.. use the shadows to escape." My bangs covered my eyes. My aura held rage and a huge amount of magical energy.

"I'm not leaving you-" I cut rouge off shout as I spun around to face him and shouted.

"GO!" He looked shocked but came to his senses fast. He quickly grabbed Lee and the exceeds grabbed on to him. I turned back to the door as rouge and the others slipped into the shadows.

"This is by the kings order! Hand over the dragon at once! I repeat. Hand over the dragon at once!" A knight shouted. I presume he is the head knight. When I hadn't answered they barged in swords ready. When they saw me just leaning against the wall staring at them they started to question me.

"Where is the devil dragon boy!" The head knight shouted. I let my magic level rise.

"Shes not a devil dragon. She's a misunderstood girl who just can't control her magic. It's not her fault. And that's why I won't let you get her." I spoke calmly as I played with a ball of light acting as though there wasn't about 20 or more knights pointing their swords at me.

"She's a dangerous she is a monster.." Dangerous yes but a monster..he just angered a dragon.

"I would suggest you leave her alone or you will be messing with more then a few dragons.." I growled earning a chuckle then a small laugh, then a full on laugh.

"HAHAH! You're a brave one boy. Now hand her over." He just made a very bad choice. Lee showed me something and I think it's time to put it to the test.

"Wrong choice...Human" my voice became that of a dragons. Time to show the secret behind the twin dragon slayers..
