Leras pov**

I groaned in pain as I woke up. My head was still pounding and I really just wanted mama right now. My eyes fluttered open but a confused expression quickly took over my face as I didn't see the sky. I saw darkness. I could feel the cold stone on my back though.

'So I'm not dead I guess but then where could I be?' I wondered to myself.

"I see you are awake now.." a male voice says off to my left. The voice was a calm one. Was he the one that saved me?

"W-who's there a-and w-where am I?" I stuttered as my confused expression turned into a frightened one. I look off to the left just to see darkness. Every where I look I only saw darkness. I couldn't see much light one the dim light from the entrance of the place I'm in. I assume I'm in a cave because the stone but then again it could be a stone house. Maybe?

"Well you were passed out in front of my cave. A dragon was following you so I took you in my cave. I couldn't just leave a child out side wounded and put in the cold." He says as I hear something moving around then a scratch. I look back over to where the voice came from. Seeing a slight spark of fire.

"here's some light" I see the little spark slowly turn into a small flicker of a flame as it slowly got lower to the ground. When it was about a foot away from the floor it dropped fast. A flame started to appear revealing a fire pit. It was made of just plain wood and stone. The stone rocks around the outside and the wood which began to get engulfed in flames. As the flames got brighter I could see a man as he stands near the flames allowing me to see him. He had long black hair with blue on the tips going about a quarter up his waist long hair. His hair was spiky and went in every direction but it was still neat. He had on a black vest with a blue trip with it laying open showing his upper body. His pants were very baggy and a very dark blue almost black. He had these blue like swirls on his muscular arms. He seemed like someone I know but I can't remember.

"You done staring?" He asked with a smirk and I blushed in embarrassment.

"S-s-sorry!" I said fast and covered my now blushing red face. He chuckled a bit and then once again spoke.

"your one funny kid. So where's your parents kid?" He looked with a confused yet somewhat worried look. He didn't seem to want to say that sentence. It was like he didn't want to admit something yet. Though the mention of my parents made me tear up a bit.

"A big red dragon blew up the mountain my family lived on. I have no where to go now. I'm all...im all...I'm all alone!!" I bursted into tears at the end. I cried but then I felt strong warm arms embrace me.

"H-huh?" I looked up and saw the man as he wiped away my tears.

"Your not alone. You can stay with me. If you want I can take you in." He spoke and I cheered up. I smiled a big toothy smile and turned to hug him though my arms only went around 1 leg since this guy was so tall and I was so short.

"Could you be my new papa??" I asked him.

"Of that what makes you happy then of course sweetie" he said with a toothy smile.

"Hehe" I giggled and let go of his leg just to start jumping and dancing around.

"Well your a hyper one aren't ya" he said with a laugh. As he said that a question popped into my head.

"Papa what's your real name? I'm just curious." I said giving him a questioning look.

"My real name huh. Well my real name is Acnologia and I have a secret that you can't tell anyone until you think the time is right. But don't tell them right away or else they might not let you join a magic guild. Now sweetie it's one for your turn. what's your name?" He said looking at me with a a happy look in his eyes. I returned the happy look then spoke.

"Acnologia sounds like a cool name and my name is Lera! Can I hear the secret now!!" I said in excitement. He chuckled.

Acnologias pov**

"You sure you are ready to hear the secret!" I said

"AYE!" She almost screamed which kinda hurt my ears but I ignored it.

Leras pov**

I really want to know the secret papa is hiding. I love surprises and secrets they are so fun to me.

"Well Lera. The secret is that I'm a dragon. Now don't be scared Lera I'm not mean and remember I'm your papa I wouldn't hurt you." My eyes widened as I heard it then I smiled with joy

"THATS SO COOL PAPA!! CAN YOU SHOW ME PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEASE!!"
I yelled begging. He laughed.

"Ok ok calm down and back up I don't want to squish you." He said. I giggled as he tried to say that with out laughing at how funny I was acting. I back up almost to the entrance and he looked at me.

"You ready Lera?" I nodded as a black and blue smoke surrounded him and got bigger and bigger then slowly disappeared to show a huge dragon. I had a shocked looked. He was so big! Maybe even bigger then that red dragon! He was black with blue swirls all over his body with these fin like things on the side on his head and at the end of his tail. He bent his head down to my height.

"Well? What do you think?" He asked with a questioning look which turned into a shocked look at I hugged his snout.

"You look so cool papa!!" I almost screamed. He chuckled and then laid down and created a ramp out of his wing.

"Climb on." he said and I looked at him wide eyed.

"We are in a go pay someone a 'visit'" he said with a growl at the end. I think I knew what he meant. Or should I say I think I know who he wants to "visit".

"It's that big red dragon isn't it." I said as I climbed up his wing trying not to fall.

"Yes. He need to be taught a very important message" He responded as I had made it to his neck and grabbed onto one of his scales so I wouldn't fall off.

"Yeah he needs a good slap" I said as he walked out of the cave and to where i passed out before which was not far at all and with one big flap took off into the air and above the trees. Once i regained my balance from almost falling off we headed to go teach that big meanie of a dragon a well needed lesson.
