Just a little WARNING: Lyra is indeed being forced at first in this chapter, so if you're sensitive, then I wouldn't read it.
As always, enjoy.

I barely nodded before Xain let go of my neck, almost hesitantly before he chuckled, shaking his head. "I have to hand it to you, Lyra. You really know how to make a person believe."
I frowned, confused but not daring to speak up again.
"You had me going," he continued, stalking back and forth in the living room. "You made me think that we were equals; that you cared deeply for me. Well now the cat's out of the bag."
I bit my lip, lost as ever.
Xain glanced my way, looking so hurt that my heart almost cracked. I didn't understand why he thought I was lying, but I couldn't ask why.
Not that it mattered.
Xain gritted his teeth before giving me a bitter smile. "I went over to the chief's house today. After work. I wanted to know what he wanted me for earlier." He chuckled, raking his slightly damp hair. "He told me about how you and Connor wanted to find another woman for me. He told me how you loved Connor more than me and how Connor went to Miles to see if there were any available women that met my tastes."
My mouth dropped, but he didn't give me the chance to speak. Xain looked distraught as the words poured out of his mouth, and the moment I saw a tear drop, I didn't care about keeping quiet.
"Xain, wait!" I suddenly ran to him, gripping his shoulders. "Connor and I would never do that-!" I didn't get the chance to finish my sentence, as Xain covered my mouth. He looked lost, broken, enraged.
"I told you to keep quiet."
Without another word, he dragged me to the large bedroom the three of us shared, tossing me onto it. I yelped and tried to get up, but he gripped my wrists and kept me pinned.
The moment his mouth connected with mine, when his tongue forcefully slipped inside of my mouth, my body and mind all but surrendered to his advances.
'Even in his state, I...'
Xain ground up against me as his tongue wrestled with mine; his free hand gripping my left ass cheek. My eyes locked up with his, full of love and desperation. My gaze must have been strong, because Xain pulled his lips away and gasped for air.
I looked up at him pleadingly. "Xain please listen to me."
"No," he growled, ripping my nightgown in half. "I'm tired of listening to you, to the both of you!" I flinched before gripping his wrists, struggling with him. "Xain, something is wrong with Miles, can't you see?! Xain, Connor and I would never hurt you like that!"
He faltered a little, causing me to kiss his hands. "Xain please believe me. Connor would never ask for something like that. I care about you."
He watched me quietly before pinning me to the bed, catching me off guard.
