Chapter 5- The Truth

Eva's POV-

I pulled into the driveway of our house at 3:07, I already knew I was in trouble because I was late. There was nothing I could do about it as the traffic was awful.

Cameron heard me shut my car door because his head popped out from around the curtain, I ran to the front door quickly but he beat me to it.

His face of anger was revealed as the big brown door swung open. I was scared, I was scared because I knew what was coming.

"Come in then" he said bluntly and I followed him into the house. He slammed the door shut and locked it because I'd tried to escape before.

"So, Eva, where have you been?" he asked with a quiet manipulative tone, he walked closer to me so we were just inches apart.
After taking a step back I answered, "oh I was just went to meet Lauren at the Starbucks in town", I lied to him. If he ever finds out where I was, Grayson would be in danger.
"Lies. Upstairs" he instructed, but I ignored him because I was too scared to move, how did he know I was lying?
"NOW!" he yelled. This time I obeyed because I hate it when he shouts, he knows that.

Cameron guided me up the stairs and into our bedroom. I knew what was coming.

"Take off you shirt" Cam ordered, and I listened immediately this time.
He came over to me and wrapped his hands around my waist, pulling me into a hug. It was nothing like Grayson's, it was cold and loose. I didn't feel safe in his arms.
He began to kiss my neck and left hickeys all down from my neck right across my right collar bone, I couldn't resist him.

Cameron's POV -

As I pulled her closer to me I could tell she couldn't resist me. One of my hands on her butt, the other on her waist, I left hickeys down her neck and collar bone. She was begging to feel more comfortable in my arms, so I scooped her up. Then after holding her in the air for a while I threw her onto the bed, then I left the room. I needed the belt.

Eva's POV-

He left the room and I knew where he was going. For the belt. There was no point trying to escape I'd tried before and always come out worse off. So I lay there, knowing what was coming and not being able to change it.

He hit me, and hit me, and hit me. Until I don't think he could do it anymore. My body was completely coated in cuts and shocking red marks, soon to be bruises. This was the truth, I couldn't tell Grayson that I was in an abusive relationship with Cam. Not because of what would happen to him and that, but because I actually loved Cameron and this was all my fault because I do things wrong. Even though I do try really hard not to.

I was unable to move, I don't know whether it was because of the shock or the pain. Probably the pain because surely I'd be used to the shock by now, although he hasn't hit me in a while.

••••••••••••••••the next day••••••••••••••

The house shook as Cameron slammed the front door shut, he was going away for the weekend. To Las Vegas. Which meant I had the house to myself for three days, I already knew that Cameron had camera's set up in near enough every room in the house. But that was so he could check if I did things wrong, because sometimes I don't realise.

My phone buzzed on my night stand, without thinking I reached for it and my whole body ached with pain from yesterday. There was some Instagram and twitter notifications and a few texts. One of Cameron, one of Grayson.

Cameron- hey beautiful, I didn't get to see you before I left since you were asleep. Just letting you know that the trip has been extended to a week so invite someone to stay over so you're not alone xxx
Me- I'll miss you :( and okay, I'll get Lauren to stay xxx

Grayson- Hey, are you free today??💙xx
Me-Yeah, actually you could come to my place??😚x

Then I texted Lauren.

Me-Hey girllll! Cam's away for the weekend and he asked me to get someone to come over so I'm not alone. Wanna come?? X
