Chapter 9 - Regrets & Denial

Grayson's POV -

"I think we and Cam are at an end", Eva's words were ringing in my ears. At. An. End. In my mind I was doing backflips but I knew I couldn't exactly show my true emotion, especially when Eva is so upset over this. 

"What do you mean? Like you're gonna break up?" I asked, with a tone of concern in my voice. I knew Cameron abuses Eva but to be fair the girl's in love which is why she hasn't left him sooner. I'm just scared as to what he'll do to her if she tries to leave.

She didn't answer my question but I knew what her response would be. She'd had enough of being treated like a rag doll, I don't blame her because if I'd been in her exact position I know I would've wanted out.

"How about we do something fun to cheer you up" I suggested, not wanting to push her. She lifted her head off my shoulder and looked at me with her big, watery, brown eyes and I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and she leaned in. I leaned in too.

Eva's POV - 

I leaned in to kiss him, not knowing what was going through my head at all, but he leaned in too. Our lips were millimeters apart and I could feel his short, deep breaths making my lips tingle with excitement. Unable to bear the suspense I pressed my lips onto his big, plump ones.

He kissed me gently. One hand on my waist, the other on my waist, my hands running through his soft hair. We both pulled away, then I realized what I'd done. That's cheating. SHIT. Grayson looked almost as nervous as I felt, quickly I jumped up off his lap and ran to the door.

"Grayson, you need to go" my words fell out of my mouth so quickly he could probably barely understand what I'd said.

"Eva, I'm so sorry" his words did the same, we felt exactly the same way. We both wanted it but we both know it shouldn't have happened.

"It's not your fault, I shouldn't have leaned in" and with that Grayson left, leaving me alone. My heart almost beating out of my chest. Excitement? Nerve? Regret? Whichever it was, I hated the feeling.

Not knowing what to do I made my way to the couch and I guess I fell asleep because the slam of the door woke me up. Cameron.

"Eva!!!" he yelled, "Eva where are you?" he must have seen my head appear as I sat up on the couch because he ran over to me and dove on me but he didn't get to say anything else.

"Cameron. Have you been seeing Alisha?" I demanded.

A/N

SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII, The return!! Eva and Gray kiss? Cameron's home early and Eva confronts him? In the next chapter it will be vidcon so buckle your seatbealts...
