Chapter 8 - At An End?

Grayson's small whispers woke me up, I waited a few minutes before letting him noticed I was awake. Wanting to hear what he was saying.
"Why does a girl like this have to be stuck with a guy like him. I could be so much better to her than him" he uttered, really quietly, I could barely make out his words but I was sure of what he said.
"I know Gray" I breathed out, finally allowing my eyes to flutter open. Startling him, he jumped.
"Shit. Eva how long have you been listening to me?" He asked as his cheeks grew crimson with embarrassment.
"Like only a couple minutes, why what else have you been saying?" I wiggled my eyebrows at him funnily. This made him go even more red before we both burst out laughing.
"Oh nothing, just venting to thin air I guess-" he gulped, wanting to say more but stopping.
"Grayson, whatever it is just tell me. Please. No more secrets, remember?" I said, not remembering where my head was rested I attempted to prop myself up on an elbow. Grayson heaved inwards, groaning.
"Fuck, ow" he shrieked, pushing my arm. Then I realised. My elbow was digging into his dick. Great. So I sat up, to avoid awkwardness, but still wanted to be close to him so I rested my head on his shoulder.
"So, now I almost ruined your chances of having kids. Continue" I joked, causing him to chuckle gently. As he laughed, it made me laugh. He was one of those people.
"Ahhhh, you do make me laugh" he smiled, gently ruffling my hair, "so.." he continued.
"Right, what did you mean when you said you know?" He questioned, resting his arm around my shoulder.
"I know that you could be so much better to me than Cam would" I admitted, I didn't want it to be true but I knew it was. Grayson began to blush, then he remembered something cause he grabbed my phone from the small table.
"I totally forgot to tell you, Aspyn texted while you were sleeping. About Cam" he looked worried.

As he picked up my phone the screen lit up, he passed it to me and I unlocked it and immediately went to my texts.

Aspyn- Hey! Are you not in Vegas with Cam? Parker just text me and said he saw him with Alisha?? Msg me back ASAP girl!

Oh no he didn't. Alisha Marie. His ex before me.

I quickly typed a response to Aspyn.

Me-Hey! No I couldn't go and wtf?? Can you ask him if he saw anything else? Thanks for letting me know x

Before messaging Cameron.

Me- WTF is going on

Knowing that it would take them both a while to reply I locked my phone and looked back up at Grayson.

"Thanks" I said with a small smile, wrapping my arms around his neck and hugging him. It was uncomfortable because I was sat to the side of him.

"Fuck it" he murmured, grabbing my waist and pulling me into his lap. His warm familiar scent filled my nose as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Grayson" I whispered.

"Yes baby" he answered, my stomach filled with butterflies.

"I think me and Cam are at an end"
