Chapter 16 - Boyfriend

Eva's POV -

Cameron was still sound asleep in the bed so I quickly got out of bed, got dressed and left the room. I needed to get to the hospital and see Grayson.

My walk turned into a fast pace which turned into a run as I raced along the corridor and I entered the open elevator.

My fists were hitting the ground floor button in the elevator until the doors closed and I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.

Unknown Number - "I thought I told you to break it off with Cam, looks like this time you're going to have to pay Gutowski😏"

The text ran through and through my head. Someone was going to hurt me. Grayson wasn't here to protect me.

The elevator reached the ground floor and I darted out when a big, muscular hand grabbed hold of me and covered my mouth. I let out a piercing scream before he pulled his hand away, I turned around to see Logan surrendering with a cheeky grin on his face.

"Hey! I'm sorry,didn't mean to scare you" he laughed and I punched his shoulder gently.

"Logan you dick! You scared the living shit outta me" I began to laugh a little too, then the thought of Grayson laying helplessly in a hospital bed came into my head and I took off.

"Eva!! Wait, I didn't mean to scare you!!" Logan yelled as he chased after me.

A nearby taxi rank caught my eye and I got into the car closest to me.

"Excuse m-" I didn't give the driver time to speak.

"Please, my boyfriend has been rushed into hospital. I'll pay you anything" I pleaded, reaching into my pocket and grabbing a fistful of notes and coins.

The man took off immediately in the car, taking me directly to the nearest hospital. My heart was pounding and I was so scared that Grayson wouldn't want to see me.

We pulled up to the hospital and I held out the notes and coins but he shook his head.

"Young girl you keep your money, just make sure your boyfriend is okay" he gave me a warm smile and I thanked him before getting out of the taxi.

That man just said boyfriend, I told someone Grayson was my boyfriend. Shit. What am I doing with my life.

My legs carried me swiftly through the hospital doors and up to the reception desk.

A young, bitchy looking girl with a short red-ish brown bob looked up at me.

"Yes?" She greeted me rudely.

"Grayson Dolan" I demanded.

"Excuse me?" she asked, giving me a dirty look.

"Let me see Grayson" I placed my hands on the desk calmly.

"I'm sorry, honey, but you can't see Grayson Dolan. You see, he's far too famous to be letting random little girls of the street in to see him" she scoffed, rolling her eyes and looking back at her computer.

"Excuse me, but I'm his girlfriend" I smirked. She scoffed again.

"Honey, do you not think people have tried that one already we-" her voice was cut off by a more familiar one yelling my name.

"EVA! You came!" Ethan yelled as he ran over to me. The girl on reception's jaw was on the floor, she was speechless. Ethan pulled me into a hug and I smiled.
