everyday before and after school i'd visit alex and make sure he was okay, somtimes i'd even skip school and spend the whole day with him, helping him made me feel less guilty as it was partly my fault. today was different though, i woke up and called alex insted i told him i had to go away for a few days so that incase david did want to get back together with me i had time to think. just as i was leaving the house i called jack.
'heeyyy jack'
'hey kate'
'so im on my way to meet david'
'um, okay. shall i meet you there' he said nervously.
'yeah. sure, i'll be there in about 10 minutes'
Jacks P.O.V
asoon as i hung up the phone i ran over to alex's house, he was getting better. his bruises are going down, he can walk without his crutches, hes getting there though. i couldnt let katy go without telling him, i had a feeling somthing bad would happen.
when i got to the front foor i flug the door open and ran upstairs as fast as i could. alex was sleeping but immediatly a-woke when i entered the room.
'JACK WHAT THE FUCK? I WAS SLEEPING. you could have came in quiter'
'fuck you. theres somthing you have to know. and i need to tell you quickly'
'whats going on jack?' alex said nervously.
i explained everything to alex and how katy is now meeting her ex david (who beat up alex) to see why he did it and what he wants with her. alex immediatly sprung out of bed threw on clothes and a beenie (because he didnt have time to straighten his hair. aww) then headed out the door with me helping him.
Katys P.O.V
i walked into the coffee shop and ordered myself a 'mango smoothie' and headed to a table where i was nervously awaiting davids arrival. after about 10 minutes of me waiting a big built, brown haired, tall looking man walked through the door and suddenly saw me and sprinted over and flinging his arms around me, i pulled away and sat down.
'its really great to see you, you look beautiful as ever' he said with a smile on this face
i slid into my chair with little intrest. 'im only here to ask you one thing. why the fuck did you think you could beat up my boyfriend? we broke up a looonnngg time ago' i began to feel myself getting more and more angry, my fists were clenching and my palms began to sweat.
'i wanted you back' he replied
'so you think beating my boyfriend up was going to get me back? you could have just spoke to me and had a fucking normal conversation.' it was hard finding the strength to hold myself back from slapping him.
'why do you even want to be with that douche bag? he looks gay, and what the fuck is up with his hair?' he said with a smug look on his face
'dont you fucking talk about him like that, hes been a better boyfriend than you ever was. he treats me like like im worth somthing, like im a princess. not like you at all, never call me, never vist me, and never lay another finger on my boyfriend again other wise you'll be going straight back were you came from' (prison if anyone forgot.) i stood up and left as quickly as i could and headed for the door.
when i left the coffee shop, i heard david shouting after me, i ignored it and carryed on walking. suddenly i felt a strong grip on my hand, it was getting tighter and tighter. i turned around to find david, he then shouted in my face 'never, EVER, talk to me like that again' he began dragging me to his car, i was trying to pull away will all my strength, suddenly tears were streaming from my face uncontrolably. then in a split second the grip loosend and david was on the ground in pain. alex began pounding at david in the face repeatedly, until david couldnt move.
he ran over to me and hugged me tightly, i burst into tears. 'im so sorry baby'.
'dont be sorry beautiful, he'll never come back and hurt you again i promise, im here to protect you, i fucking love you' alex said as he looked deep into my eyes, a tear then shed from his eye.
'are you okay kate?' jack said with a concerned look on his face
'i'll be fine. thankyou for coming guys' i said as i hugged them both.
'i'll take you home now baby'.
