Katy's P.O.V
as i walked down the stairs in a simple black dress, and ruffled my tightly curled hair. i headed to the lounge to help my mom set the table as the doorbell rang, i hurried to the door to find Tay, Jack and Alex all huddling in my porch.
'hey guys. come in' i said, as i hugged them.
'wooooow, your house is sick' jack said
as we walked into the lounge and sat down at the dinner table i introduced my mom and nick to everyone, she then gave alex a warm hug, i think hes the first boyfriend of mine shes ever actually liked?
'so alex, tell us about your band' nick said.
'oh yeah, its called All Time Low. its just me, Jack, Rian and Zack. were actually playing our first gig in a couple of days witch were really pumped about!'
from then on all that happened was jack cracking penis joke, after penis joke.
suddenly, i felt alexs foot kicking mine under the table and giving me a cheeky smile and his eyes looking towards the door. we both descretly headed to the kitchen for a moment of piece.
'im so bored, i really dont want to go back in there. shall we just go to your house and chill' i said hopefully.
'yeah, sounds cool'
'okay, let me go grab my coat' i said as i ran off upstairs.
Alex's P.O.V
at around 1am Katy decided she wanted to go home, and i was'nt going to let her walk alone (what kind of boyfriend would do that?). as i dropped her off and kissed her goodbye, i was halfway home walking down a quiet road. somthing didnt feel right, it felt like someone was following me. i carried on walking pretending nothing was wrong, and in a hurry to get home as quick as possible when a tall, brown haired, big built man came from behind me and tackled me to the ground. he just kept shouting 'SHES MINE, SHES MINE' and began pounding at my face. i was trying to fight him off but i couldnt find the strength, i was too weak by this point. after about 5 minutes of pounding at me he walked off with a smug look on his face and said 'you dont deserve her'.
Jacks P.O.V
i woke up on sunday morning feeling quite pleased with myslef i must admit, after i had finally laid Tay! (score). i grabbed my phone of my bedside table and rang alex to tell him the news. he didnt answer after me calling him about 4 times, i thought somthing wasnt right. Alex always has his phone with him, something was'nt good. i straight away called Katy to ask her if she'd spoken to him but she hadn't. i started getting this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomache, Alex always called Katy every morning. i jumped out of bed, threw my clothes on and ran out the door and met up with Katy then headed to Alex's house. as we'd reached Alex's driveway me and Katy were trembling, we rang the doorbell, it felt like hours waiting for an answer. Isobel (alex's mom) soon answered the door and wrapped her arms around katy with a worried look on her face.
'come, come in' she said.
'wha-whats happend with alex?' Katy said concerned.
'he came home at around 2:30am last night, cut and brused. someone had beaten him up' she said as a tear streamed down her face. i pulled her in and gave her a hug till she stoped crying.
me and katy ran upstairs to alexs room and flung open the door to find alex lying in his bed injured and wrapped in bandages.
Katys P.O.V
that moment when we opened the door and saw alex lying there in pain, i burst into tears, ran over and hugged him.
'wha-what happened? who was it?' jack said
'im not sure, after i dropped katy home i was walking and this big built guy came from behind me, tackled me to the ground and kept shouting 'shes mine, shes mine'
'no' i ran out of the room, into the bathroom and locked the door. tears were uncontrolably streaming down my face. jack began to knock the door lighly.
'can i come in kate?'
i slowly slid the lock over and opened the door slightly. jack rushed in and hugged me. 'whats made you so sad kate? was it alex? he'll be fine soon, i promise'
'part of it's alex and the other thing is, that guy who beat alex up was my ex boyfriend.'
'no fucking way, that was david?' jack seemed shocked.
'by the sounds of what alex is saying yes' tears were still streaming down my face. 'why has he came back? we broke up a year ago. what could he possibly want with me?!'
'i dont know kate? till alex is better, i'll look after you. everyday i'll pick you up and take you to school then walk you home. i'll be your subsitute alex' he said trying to make light of the situation.
'haha' i forced myself to smile. 'okay, thankyou. what should i tell alex? i dont want him to be worried'
'we'll just keep it a secret, pretend you didnt know who it was'
'umm, okay. shall i call him and ask to meet up and talk to ask him about this?'
'uh, okay. but i'll be sitting at the next table just incase'
'okayy, thankyou jack. your a good friend!' i flung my arms around him and gripped tightly.
i jumped of the floor, swept the tears from my eyes and headed to alex's room with jack. i promised alex everyday i would come see him and nurse him back to health, after all it was sort of my fault he was in this mess.
after i left alex's, jack walked me home and on the way i called David and asked him to meet up tomorrow, jack seemed pretty nervous about what was going to happen but we both new this was for the best. i gave jack a hug goodbye and walked into my house...
