Y/N's POV
Currently, me and Cade were working on Optimus. He and Cade would make small talk every now and then, but I was remaining silent going over what was happening. This truck is a transformer...
I sighed and got my flashlight closer to the giant hole in his chest.
"You're lucky, they barely missed your power source." I mumbled.
"We call that a Spark, it inherits our life form and memories." Optimus spoke, gazing down to me.
"Funny, we call that a soul," I said, smiling. Cade was smiling as well, sending a piercing gaze.
"So, what did fully happen?" Cade asked, getting back to work- me as well.
"I was ambushed, a trap set by humans," He spoke, resting his arm on his knee.
"Humans? But aren't you an autobot? Y'know, on our side?" I asked, surprised.
"Yeah, why would the humans want to attack you?" Cade added.
"They weren't alone. My autobots can fix me." Optimus mumbled.
A couple of beeps came from my desk and I jumped down the ladder and to it. I picked up the head piece and examined it.
"Dad!" Tessa screamed from outside.
I peeked out the barn door, and saw a larger lady in all purple.
"Whoop, purple people eater is back, she looks hungry." Cade grumbled walking out with a bat.
I looked at Cade, then to Optimus, then back to Cade. I'm alone with this thing.
I crawled up the ladder with my one hand since the head piece was in the other. I pulled the handkerchief up and over my nose so I could get to work. I pulled the wrench out of the toolbox that was up there priorly and began to tighten the headpiece back on.
"Get the hell outta here!" I heard Cade scream from outside.
"Ohh shit," I mumbled.
"Language." The autobot grumbled.
"My bad." I smiled.
Cade stormed back into the barn and grabbed a blowtorch.
"Jerry will beat me up, my ass." Cade grumbled.
"Soo, what's your plan?" I asked Optimus.
"What do you mean?" He said, looking towards me out of the corner of his optics.
"Well, after we fix you up, what then? You just gonna take off and we'll never see you again or what?" I said, and I heard a click while tightening the helm, meaning it was back on. I backed away and pulled the handkerchief back down.
"There is no plan. Meet up with my autobots then some," Optimus spoke with his low voice.
"Why were you so agitated when you changed first but now you're all calm?" I asked.
"My thoughts for humans have changed." He mumbled sadly.
"So then why aren't me and Cade dead?" I asked, taking a slight step back.
