"Optimus..." I whispered.
"I'll protect her until the day my Spark gives out, now call it off..." Lockdown began to walk back over to Optimus until bullets were being fired. Lockdown picked me up, which honestly didn't last long.
I screamed and tried to duck my head but I saw Tessa and Shane attaching a cable to the sword in Optimus's chest. I smiled, knowing their plan, and then Lockdown dropped me. I was falling for what felt like forever until I felt metal hands catch me. Next thing I know I'm sitting in a mustang with a yellow tinge.
"BumbleBee!" I smiled.
"Family until-- the end-- Y/--N.." Bee said through the radio. I smiled and rubbed my hand across the dash. I jumped out of the car and back into the action. Lockdown saw me and jumped to the ground near me, sending me on my ass.
"They didn't say you had to be alive," Lockdown spat, raising his sword-- but before he could finish, another collided with his head, sending a green goo flying. Optimus cut him straight up the middle and I smiled, seeing him.
"Honor, to the end."
Optimus said after Lockdown's death. I stood up and dusted myself off, walking closer to Optimus.
"You are just full of surprises," I said, crossing my arms and smiling.
Optimus lowered his servo, which I stepped onto and he raised me up to his eye level.
I laughed nervously, not knowing wether he was going to scold or thank me.
"What you did was brave," Optimus started,"But incredibly ignorant."
"Ouch," I said, smiling.
"You risked your life for mine, and I am forever in your debt."
I was lowered downwards, but before I could touch the ground, I hugged his chest where his Spark was.
"As am I." I whispered.
I looked up at him with my big E/C eyes and a wide smile,"Ok, Opti, Mr.Wise Guy of all Wise Guys, what now?"
"Our work here is done, we leave." Optimus stated.
I looked down at the ground as Optimus lowered me,"Oh."
"Do not fear, Y/N. This is just a simple goodbye."
"Y'know, I don't like goodbyes.. how about, see ya later, alligator?" I asked, my voice slightly rising with every word.
A smile spread across Optimus's face as he transformed into a truck, and I hopped inside.
"Woah wait, what about us?" Cade asked, walking up to the door.
"Find your own way home!" I giggled as Optimus drove away.

"His name was Sam." Optimus stated after a long moment of silence.
Everyone had eventually met up in an abandoned warehouse and Optimus and I were the only one's awake. I was sitting in the cab as he was in his alt mode on the roof.
"Say again?" I asked, full of confusion.
"Sam Witwicky. Bumblebee was his guardian, and there was a time when he was in need and we couldn't--" Optimus stopped.
"Save him?" I asked, playing with my thumbs.
"Exactly."
I hopped out of his altmode and stared at the stars.
"You have very beautiful E/C eyes." Optimus blurted.
"Thanks..?" I asked, more of a question. I put my focus back on the stars as I sighed and stared at the ground.
"When we met, I thought you were going to kill me." I said, putting in a small-- and fake-- chuckle. Optimus transformed and tensed up and I smiled up at him.
"But now that everything's happened, I'm kinda glad you didn't." I smiled. After a while of him just staring at me, I once again looked at the sky.
"I have a question."
"Mm?" I replied, nonchalant.
"Is it normal to feel a pull between human allies?" He asked, with a slight shrug.
"English please?"
"Whenever I'm around you, I get this pull, like a magnet. Is this normal for regular humans?" Optimus stated, tilting his head to the side.
It didn't take me long to ponder what he was thinking of.
"Love."
"I deeply apologize, but I am not familiar with the term."
"When you feel a pull, it's called love. When you get butterflies and you feel all tingly, and--"
"So do I love you? Is it an illness?"
I chuckled as a faint blush decorated my cheeks.
"Your cheeks are turning pink, are you experiencing the side effects?"
I began laughing,"I love you, Optimus."
He went kind of silent,"I love you too, Y/N."
There was an unsettling silence after that, and I turned around to face Optimus.
"Will your Spark ever die out?"
"As long as I'm careful."
"You know you aren't careful." I scolded.
A faint smile spread across his face.
"I don't want you guys to leave." I whispered.
"If we stay any longer we put you and your friends at risk. We are in danger here as well- forever and always."
I sighed sadly and he lifted me up to his shoulder.
"What are you doing out here?" Hound asked, walking out- everyone else walked out too.
"Just talkin'" I smiled.
"Mmhmm." Tessa wiggled here eyebrows as she began to laugh. Then we all began to laugh, and I gently rested my hand against Optimus's shoulder plate.
"We are in danger here as well- forever and always."
I'm going to need to fix that.
