Error!Sans x Reader (Fluff)

"You know, you can be really annoying at times." Error remarked, obviously not in the mood. "Awe c'mon Error, it was just a joke." You stood smiling at the angered skeleton, replaying what you said in your head.

"Yeah, well, it wasn't very funny." "Lighten up, if I'm gonna be stuck here forever, might as well get used to my jokes."

Error walked off, anoyed, into a different AU and left you there again. To your thoughts. To your insanity. To your feelings.

Even though you've only been here a year, you felt very attached to the skeleton and this white void. Error said that you weren't supposed to be here, you were an error, defect, mistake in the code, but the feeling of hatred towards you slowly left him as you spent more and more time with him. Learning secrets, sharing stories, finding the cute, little, irresistible things about each other, slowly falling for one another, not even realizing it.  

Your thoughts were a mess today. Error seemed to be everywhere in your mind. Noticing the little details, the small acts of kindness, the fact that he didn't kill you was a bonus.

After a bit of being flustered and saying your thoughts, Error came back. You were in the middle of one of your rants when he grabbed your shoulder to get you to calm down. You turned to face him and saw worry in his eyes. Oh his eyes. You could read his emotions better through his eyes than you can by looking at his facial expressions. 

"Y/N? Are you ok?" He scanned your face for any signs of distress or a way to help you. "I think I'm ok." "Really? You were ranting again, this is the third time this week, you almost cried again. I'm getting worried." Error raised his hand up to your cheek and stroked back a stray piece of hair.  

Butterflies fluttered around in your stomach as you stared into his eyes to find any emotions similar to yours. Your search was interrupted when he spoke, "Y/N?" "Yeah?" 

Error stepped back, "Are you alright?" "Uh.. Yeah. Sorry for worrying you."
Error scanned your face one last time before walking off.

There was a fight. An argument. Why though? What was so important that you had to prove your side correct? So important that you risked the chance of Error leaving for days trying to cool off? What were you arguing about?

You being able to go see other AUs. Meet other Sans' and see something other than a white, lonely, boring void.

"IT'S NOT LIKE I'LL DIE OR ANYTHING!!"

"NO BUT YOU COULD FALL IN LOVE WITH A SANS AND NEVER WANT TO LEAVE OR VISIT ME EVER AGAIN!!!"

"THAT COULDN'T EVEN HAPPEN BECAUSE I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!"

You said it.

Error stopped mid thought, processing this new information.

You looked like you were going to cry.

"I wouldn't fall for anyone because you already have my heart." A few sniffles was heard while trying to calm down.

You sat on the ground, arms wrapped around your legs and your chin on your knees.

Error walked over and sat down next to you.

"I didn't realize the feeling was mutual."

You raised your head up a bit, "Mutual? Does that mean-"

"I like you too, Y/N."

Error placed his arm around your shoulder and leaned you closer to his.

You relaxed and placed your legs on top of his.

"Can I go visit other AUs?"

"Only if you promise to not fall in love with any other Sans."

"As long as you promise to not become jeleous while I'm talking to them."

"We got a deal?"

You kissed his cheek.

"We got a deal."

"I love you, Y/N."

"I love you too, Error."
