6. Indecision

60 3 1

Does it not break your heart,
When the things you cherish the most,
Suddenly break apart,
Only to remain in your memory,
As bittersweet ghosts.

More than anything else,
You want to go ahead,
Yet you're stopped by a force,
You turn back, stop dead,
Realisation dawned:
The real culprit is within you.

The path ahead is clear,
Yet you cannot bring yourself to tread it;
It's the indecision,
Which is ruining something very dear,
So you remain silent,
Accepting the blame,
With self-loathing, resignation.
