-Skylar's P.O.V.-

As Toby and I had finally gotten to his house about 10 minutes later, he fished for the keys in his pockets. When Toby found them he quietly unlocked his front door and we both slowly tip-toed our way up the stairs to his room. "So..." he said, shutting his bedroom door and when it slammed behind him he flinched, "F*ck..." he whispered as I took a look around his room.

After about 5 minutes of looking around at his pictures, posters and things I turned around and saw him laying on his bed twirling a pencil in his hand. I didn't know what to say so I quickly blurted out, "You changed" with a smile. He chuckled, turned to me and stared. "You too!" I laughed then looked at a mirror on the wall as I admired my new appearance. "Yea..." I answered before turning back around to face him and thought about what to say next. "How are you?" He beat me to it and I replied with a 'fine' even though I clearly wasn't. "Did you make new friends while I was gone??' He asked and suddenly frowned realising that he shouldn't have asked something like that but I warmly answered, "Pretty much just Rachel, and maybe my lab partner Max but we don't hang out much. You?"

"Asher, Jordan and Melanie but they aren't as close like you and me."

I smiled knowing I thought the exact same thing.

"Last year some guy walked straight into Brooklyn in the cafeteria and she got covered in sphagetti!" I giggled as I randomly told him about the memory as I had wanted to make him laugh. I suceeded immediately. "Really??" He laughed then soon covered his mouth because he didn't want his parents to find out we ditched school. "Uh huh! She couldn't get it out of her hair for a week and smelt like sphagetti for a month." I laughed with him and fell to the ground and accidentally snorted really loud.

Just then we heard a knock on Toby's door and both froze. "Helloo? Toby?" We both sighed as it was only his little sister Sally. Wait?! Sally!! "Come in!" I calmly-ishly whisper-shouted as I hadn't seen Sally in years and I had missed her loads. The door opened, she walked through the door and gasped, "Skylar!" She shouted, running to hug me tight and I hugged back without hesitation. In about 3 minutes I pulled away and looked at her. "You've grown up!" I smiled and looked at the little girl infront of me who was about 4"5, had beautifully long chesnut brown hair, bright sapphire eyes and was holding her teddy bear Rexx. She must have been about 10 now.

She blushed and looked away, "No I didn't..." she giggled, "But you did!" I laughed as I knew I had grown a couple of inches and asked how she knew it was me. She pointed to the necklace I was wearing and smiled. She had given me a pretty 4 leafed clover necklace a couple of Christmas's ago which I never took off. "Oh really??" I asked sarcastically and she smiled her toothy smile she always did.

"Sally? Can you go to your room so me and Skylar could talk?" Toby then asked quickly, (almost with jelousy in his voice :) Sally nodded and hugged me before she left, "Bye Skye!!" "Bye!"

-Toby's P.O.V.-

Me and Skylar spent another couple of hours just talking about news and things like we've never met, until, unfortunately, she looked at the time and realised she should leave as school was over ages ago. I frowned then hugged her and watched as she left my house, dissapearing into the darkness almost like a shadow.

"Toby?" Sally asked when Skye left, poking her head through the kitchen door. "Yea?" I asked as I walked over to her. "Dinner's ready. Did she leave yet?" She inquired and I nodded. I saw her smile fall, knowing she loved Skye like a sister. "Ok..."

That night I went to bed thinking of what Skylar and I could do to hang out over the next few days. I wanted to do something special to make up for leaving her even though I knew she would never forgive me for that. After a while I figured it out, "Ice skating!" I grinned as I looked up at my ceiling that was covered in glow-in-the-dark stars. Skye and I had put them up there about 4 years ago.

(I moved to my grandparent's house and as this was my parent's house, they didn't take away the stars even when I left 3 years ago :D)

"Ice skating..." I thought,

"We tried that once but Skye kept falling so she refused to go back because her butt hurt for a week afterwards." I laughed quietly and drifted off to 'dreamworld' as Sally had said many times... :D
