Never Forget

-Making Memories-

-Toby's P.O.V-

"Did he really say that??" Skylar's soft voice rang through the phone.

"Yea.. he called you a delicious piece of bacon.." I simply replied and chuckled loudly. She joined in laughing a few seconds later. "Asher these days.." I mumbled hoping only she would hear.

"I heard that!!" Ash shouted from the other side of my room. This just made me and Skye laugh even harder.

It has almost been a week since I got another message from annonymous but things were going pretty well. I haven't been hanging out as much with Skylar though, I blamed that on packing and moving in.. But we talked a lot on the phone and when we did, it felt as if we would never run out of things to say. This was mostly because Ash usually came up with a new reference he would keep repeating, or he would do something hilarious which we kept reminding him about.

"How did you guys even meet anyway?" Skye asked inbetween her laughter fit.

I thought back to it and began explaining almost immediately.

"Well, since I was the new kid in school, I kind of wanted to make friends (as everyone does when they are new :P) so on the very first day, I-"

I was cut off by Asher who called my name briefly and signalled that nothing was working.

"Sorry, I have to go! I'll talk to you later!"

"Bye?" She answered, a little confused at my suddenly awkward behaviour.

"Bye!" I said cheerfully; as if to show there was nothing wrong, and I hung up.

I then turned to Ash who was lightly banging his head on my table repeatedly. I laughed at his silly action and took a few minutes to finally comprehend what was happening. "Sooooo.. I have to tell her?" I asked the most obvious question I could at the time. He turned to me with a glare that said 'well duh' followed by a derp face.

I quickly nodded to show I understood and began to think how I could possibly explain the whole situation without Skye freaking out and/or hating me.

"You could bring her someplace nice, remind her you still care, make some memories and tell her somewhere calm and quiet?" Asher's reassuring voice broke the clouded silence that was in my room. It was as if he just read my mind.

Before he could take back his words or akwardly try and distract me I quickly blurted out, "Yea, that's an amazing idea!" While hugging him as tight as I could. "Thanks."

"I can't breathe.." He managed to mutter a moment later so I let go and laughed, "Oops."

"That's what friends are for! I told you, you might need Dr. Ashinator's help someday!" He grinned and made a superhero pose which made me laugh harder; "Really Ash, really?" He just smirked and corrected me to, "Dr. Ashinator!" Seconds later we both were litterally rolling on the floor laughing..

-Time skip brough to you by a guiar playing elephant statue-

"Bye Bro!" Ash shouted at me in a 'tough' voice before leaving my house.

"Bye!" I replied after him and went to my room where I tried to find something to wear on the 'date' with Skye.

About an hour later when I got ready, I quickly texted Skylar to let her know I'll be at her house in a bit.

I then grabbed my car keys off my desk and ran out the front door

A few minutes later, I got to Skylar's house and parked my car in her driveway. I eagerly skipped (Yes, men skip) over to her front door and knocked in the rythm of our song, like I always do. She opened the door seconds later and pulled me into a hug.

"I haven't seen you in sooo long!" She said as she faked a pout. I pretended to wipe away tears while nodding my head. I then quickly took her hand and practically dragged her to my car.

I opened the car door for her like a 'gentleman' and ushered her inside.

Skylar smiled at me, bowed and got in. I then walled to my side of the car and started to drive off.

I had the whole day planned and wanted everything to be perfect..

-Skylar's P.O.V-

Silence filled Toby's car until finally I decided to speak. "Where are we going anyway?" I asked curiously as I watched trees and buildings swiftly move past in the window.

"It's a surprise!" He laughed as if he knew I was going to ask this. I groaned loudly, making sure he heard me clearly. "You know I hate surprises.." I complained. He just laughed again which made me even more annoyed.

"Why can't you give Elsa a balloon?" Toby asked in an attempt to cheer me up. He succeeded immediately, "Cause she'll LET IT GO!" I sang quietly while giggling. He smiled and playfully punched my shoulder, still keeping his eyes on the road ahead. "See? You can't stay mad at me for long!"

This comment quickly brought a frown to my face as I hated that he was always right. He pouted dramatically and pretended to cry.

"B-But I thought you loved me??"

I couldn't stop myself from grinning widely. I guess I couldn't be mad at him for more than 5 minutes :D.

*Time skip brought to you from a leprachaun who can't be bothered to pay his electricity bill*

As the car came to a sudden stop I briefly opened my wary eyes and looked around before I felt Toby cover my eyes with something. "What?!" I screamed as loud as I could. "Just keep the blindfold on and don't peak until I say so" I heard his reassuring voice in the darkness. I nodded quickly as he grabbed my hand and carefully led me, somewhere, making sure I din't trip and fall. (I'm really clumsy.. :P)

"Left"

"Right"

"Step forward"

"Step backward"

"Aaaand, we're here!" Toby explained and took my blindfold off almost immediately.

I gasped at the gorgeous view infront of me. We were on a large cliff that overlooked the whole city, there were trees and flowers everywhere and a lonely looking bench sat facing the view. "Wow.." I said, almost speechless.

There was also a little picnic near the bench and an ice-cream truck was parked here too.

"What's with the.." I started.

"The ice-cream truck? I robbed that from the nearest neighbourhood and dragged it here" Toby answered before I could finish.

I laughed loudly and snorted now and then.

"Wow, I didn't know you were such a bad boy! My dad warned me about boys like you!" I exclaimed dramatically and turned to walk away. "Oh stop it!" Toby giggled like a girl and flipped his hair.

There was a pause for about a minute but we couldn't keep it in any longer and both burst out laughing..

"Tea, dogs or cats?"

"Dogs, books or movies?"

Me and Toby spent the day joking around, eating food and simply asking each other random questions.

Spending time with him was worth every second and it felt as if we were children again, living care-free lives with no responsibilities.

Everything was going perfectly.

"You know, you really are the most beautiful girl i've ever met?" He said as he smiled his gorgeous smile. I blushed a bit, and smiled like an idiot, feeling time stop for a moment. Then we both started to lean in...
