But I didn't know it until

The sun came and brightened my day

It washed all the tears away and made all the grey fade away.

I am a poet but I never would have known until the day you broke my heart in two.

It tore me up made me feel raw but that doesn't matter no not at all

This is now. And now I am a poet and

I'm proud to show it.
