CHAPTER 1

I shot up from bed and ran for the toilet where I started vomiting the contents of my stomach. What seemed like minutes of vomiting felt like hours.

Slowly standing up, I flushed the toilet and closed the toilet seat. I sat down on it as I buried my head onto my hands. I groaned, Fuck! my head hurts. So this is what they call hangover. I never thought it would hurt this bad. It hurts like a bitch! I sighed and went to the sink to brush my teeth. I don't want the sour taste of vomit in my mouth to last much longer.

I walked back to my room and went back to bed. Suddenly, a question popped in my mind. 'If I was drunk last night, then who the hell brought me home?'

I sat up straight and tried to remember something from last night. Come on brain. Work!

Nothing. I can't remember a thing. Not one bit. I groaned in frustration. Maybe I just need a hot cup of coffee. Yeah, that will do.

Tying my hair into a messy bun, I grabbed my phone and made my way to the kitchen to have some freshly brewed coffee.

I have to admit, I hate the scent of coffee but I do love the way it tastes. Holding a hot cup of coffee, I went to the kitchen counter and sat on one of the chairs. I opened my phone and found some unread messages from my bestfriend Nadia.

'Yo Bitch! Wake up!'

7:36 am

'I know ur still in bed!'

'This day is important! Now get your arse up!'

8:31 am

'This is ur best friend. And I just wanna inform u that... BITCH IT'S 8:30!'

'Have some Mercy!'

'I'm bustin' in yo house!'

'I'm coming 4 u!'

Oh my god. I looked up to the clock hanging on the wall. It's 10:51 and I look like shit. I haven't even showered yet. At least I've already brushed my teeth but still, I'm late! I seriously forgot! Today is the first day of the preparation for the Mate Festival and as the daughter of the Alpha, I have to be there to help with the preparations together with Nadia, the Head Warrior's daughter, and the rest of the pack members. I started panicking, pacing around the room.

Suddenly, there was a loud knock on the door. My head snapped towards its direction but I just stared at it, not even bothering to open the door. The person knocked again and this time, the person shouted.

"Open the damn door Alexandria or I swear to the Moon goddess I'm going to break it!" My eyes widened and thanked the Moon Goddess. I ran towards the door, opened it and saw Nadia. I instantly engulfed her in a hug.

"Nadia! I'm so glad you're here!"

She didn't hug me back though. Instead she glared at me.

"You have the nerve to hug me?! You made me wait for hours. You told me that you'd pick me up and look at you! You're not even ready yet! I had to use my dad's car to get here. You're a fucking mess! Your hair is like a bird's nest bitch." She ranted. I gave her a cheeky smile and a nervous laugh. Seriously, this girl can turn into something evil.

"I'm sorry, Nadie. It won't happen again. Forgive me?" I pleaded and gave her 'the look'. She stared at me and finally gave in with a sigh. With a small smile, she questioned "Can I come in?"
