The ride was full of laughter. We sang songs together with booming voices. It felt like an eternity filled with sniggering and I relish every single moment.

Erick pulled up in a place that is very foreign to me. The road we took was almost fully covered with grass. The trees are so healthy, tall and green. Bushes are filled with all sorts of flowers as if it was once a garden. I can hear birds chirping around us and I closed my eyes and inhaled the fresh air surrounding the area. I never knew of this place and its beauty marvelled me.

"This place is stunning..." I sighed in content. I heard him chuckle from behind me.

"We are not even there yet." I gave him a questioning look and was about to ask him when he placed his index finger on my lips to prevent me from speaking.

"We still have to walk down that path to get to where we should be." He said pointing to a dim path that barely looks like a path. I swallowed hard and glanced at him.

"Can we just come back tomorrow? The sun is almost setting." I said nervously.

"Trust me, Alex. I will never harm you." He said, deeply gazing into my eyes. I smiled as a sign of my trust and we started walking towards the path that creeped me out earlier.

A few minutes later, we arrived at a dark place. There are towering rocks here, water and a loud noise. The sun can be seen as it is slowly setting down and I began panicking. It's going to be shadowy here. Who knows what will happen. Rogues could be around here. Sure, I'm with Erick and we are both trained but we could be outnumbered.

I noticed Erick taking out something from the small bag that cling onto his shoulders. A mat. He placed it neatly on the patch of grass and motioned for me to sit beside him and I did.

"What now?" I asked. I heard him sigh

"We wait for the moon to shine." He answered simply and I did not question why.

A few seconds later, a full moon appeared behind the dark clouds that were covering it and the moonlight illuminated the whole place. The water sparkled as if there were diamonds below. It looks so magical.

A waterfall!

That's where the noise came from!

The water fell gracefully from somewhere above the towering rocks. The moon was giving this place light and goddess, this is astonishing! I examined the place and I can already see the land clearly. The green grass, asorted wild flowers, rocks, and the waterfall. The scene earlier could not compare to this beauty in front of me.

How come I never knew that a beautiful scenery such as this existed within our pack's territory?

I felt eyes staring and I instinctively looked behind and caught Erick gazing at me with awe-filled eyes. His arms were supporting him from behind.

"I knew you'd like it..."

"But how.. how did you find this place?"

He looked back at the falling water and different kinds of emotions swirled in his eyes and I can't seem to read him.

"I found this place by accident." He said softly.

"You accidentally found this?"  I asked, my eyes wandering around. He gave me a nod as an answer.

"Back when we were still in elementary, I had a crush on you..."

My eyes widened. Did he just confess?

"Elementary? But we met in middle school!" My heart is beating rapidly right now.

"I was the fat kid." He gave me a picture of a young boy with a bloated face and stomach. An obese kid.
