My eyes widened as I came up with a hypothesis.

"Oh my god! Erick took me home!" The car abruptly stopped and I almost hit my head. I looked at Nadia with wide eyes.

"You remember Erick, but you don't remember me?!" She questioned incredulously.

"What?" My eyebrows furrowed. All I can remember about her was when she approached me with a beer in her hand. I heard her groan obviously exasperated.

"I was the one who took you home Alex. Not Erick. Both of you were highly intoxicated. You were wobbling and singing the theme song of Teletubbies! Erick on the other hand, oh god" She raised her hands in the air and continuedhe was worse than you. He attempted to choreograph the song you were singing! Thank the Moon Goddess I was sober."

I scratched my head, trying to remember "Really? we did that? I can't remember that part."

She rolled her eyes "Obviously" She muttered and began driving again. She told me more of what happened last night.

It was my first time getting drunk. I drink alcohol but I'm always sober. I never let it overpower in my system, that is, not until last night.

I was never a fan of liquor, but he was there, the kiss, and I was carried away about the things that we were talking about.

During the whole ride, we were talking about the mortifying things that I did and I mentioned the heart to heart talk that I had with Erick.

Nadia knows about my huge crush on him and she didn't believe me at first. I mean, who would? He never gave signs that he liked me or was interested in me. No wink whatsoever. And he always has a new girl which is pretty annoying.

After a car ride full of girl talk, we finally arrived at the Venue. It's in the Southern part of the My dad's pack. In the Enchanted woods. It's named as such since the moon shine so bright in that part of the pack.

Dad chose this place because he believes that the Moon goddess is going to watch the Fest from the heavens and that the moon will shine ever so brightly than before.

I have to admit, my dad's terrain is huge but not the biggest. This year, Mate Fest is going to be held in our pack and it is a pack's greatest honor to be entrusted to host this event.

The Wolf King, himself is the one who assigns a pack to handle the event and this year, he chose ours which means, he trusts us and saw a great potential in our pack.

Mate Fest is a day wherein all unmated werewolves from every pack gathers, hoping to find their other half. Their mate.

Some of them are not lucky though because a werewolf should be at the age of 18 to be able to attend this event, thus some won't find their mate if their other half is still underage or if their mate is a human which is very rare, uncommon.

We got off the car and we were greeted by the pack members with 'Good Morning' and a smile.

"Alex, let's meet again later. I have to go to my parents." She pointed to her parents who are currently with the chefs. I think they are helping them decide about the food that will be prepared for the event which will be a lot since we, werewolves have a huge appetite. I gave her a nod and she ran towards them.

My eyes roam around the place. It's half ready. Black, Silver, and Gold streamers were already hanged from tree to tree. A humongous table at the center, wine glasses piled from bottom to top, polished plates and other utensils.
