It's four months into watching over Quinn, she is graduating early, and I am there, I couldn't be more proud, the someone was speaking to me the ghost. "Dakota, I'm Hazel, remember, you killed me 6years ago," said the voice, I turned around to see a girl -a ghost- over Quinn's secret admirer, Drake. "What do you want?" I asked, "I want Drake and Quinn to be together, is that a problem?, we are just guardians anyway, we can't love them, that's against the rules, so what do you say?" She asked.
She had a point, I wasn't supposed to love Quinn, but she was next so all I said was, "I'll think about it, let me watch her, because that's our job" I said moving to where I could see Quinn.
When she got off stage I followed her. I was also there for Matt, even though Quinn and him don't get along, I was proud of them both, so much. When I saw Matt he looked so different then when I last saw him, he was, smiling, although he used to, He never really smiles anymore, just, blames my death on Quinn.
He kisses Jay, "first 'adult' kiss I guess" he said smiling, Quinn starred at the floor though. "You ok Quinn?" Jay asked, "Yeah, I'm fine! We need to go pack, like now, we move in a few days people," she said perking her head up and getting into her car, she was going to collage soon, the college I was going to go to, so she applied, and got excepted.
"I guess you're right," Matt said as he started walking with Jay to their house to pack.
After everything was packed they went to Matt, Jen, and Max's house. "Heya guys," Matt said to Jen, Max, and I never mentioned this but, my father and Sylvia had a baby named Rachel, making her my half sister. "You guys were awesome! I wish I was your age. . ." Rachel said smiling, she had chestnut-brown hair, green eyes -like mine- and had nearly the same face as Jen, who has one brown eye, one blue. "Thanks Rach, but you don't want to be our age, I was nice to be your age," Quinn said to Rachel kneeling down to her 8-year-old height, she's only seen me twice, when she was born, and when she was 3.
"We saw somethings that shouldn't be there," Max began, "We saw Hazel and Dakota," Jen finished. Quinn knew who Hazel was. "Who are those two?" Rachel asked, this always made me feel horrible, the fact she doesn't know me, her brother. "It's, um, our friend and another one of our. . . Friends," Jen said hating to say that. "So Kota's back?" Jay asked tell them you dumbass! I thought MAX! You know, please, Please tell them!
"I don't know," max said dumbass. "Go get your stuff, Matt, we need to get there soon," Quinn said changing the subject.
They're now at the apartment building they would stay at, when they were all asleep I parked my car next to Quinn's. I went to sleep in a chair and slept for a while.
In the morning I woke up to see Quinn was looking out the window at the car and I went to the spot I was going to come from. She walked to the car and whispered, "how is it here?" I started walking up to her and my footsteps made noise with the snow, I had the power to be invisible and visible when I wanted, she could see me, hear me, and feel me. She didn't look, she was still baffled.
"Glad to see the car?" I asked. She turned around at the sound of my voice, "Kota!" She exclaimed, pinning me to the ground, hugging my neck and looking me in eye, "you broke your promise," she informed me, "I know, I'm sorry, but I'm glad you're safe," I told her.
She started kissing me and removed the hair from over my left eye. When she pulled away, she stood up, I stood up too, and hugged me, whispering, "I love you," into my ear. "I love you too," I told her.
"Do you want to come in?" She asked, "sure," I replied. She grabbed my hand and started leading me to her apartment. "I'm the only one of us home right now," she informed me.
"Ok, I'll live," I said brushing my hair back in my face. She brushed it back to the side and kissed me again. "You look better without hiding," she said looking me in both eyes, "what happened to your left eye?" She asked, "Phoenixes, I got scratched, nothing serious," I explained.
"Well, I can show you around if you want," she informed me. "That'd be great, it would be easier to live here," I said half joking, "I'm guessing you've already been here," she said laughing. "I did, sorry if it bothered you, it was only last night," I apologized, "I don't care, where'd you sleep?" She asked. "In a chair," I replied.
"You don't have to sleep in a chair you know," she informed my jokingly. "I didn't want to disturb you," I told her. "Ok, wait, have you learned that fire is hot yet?" She asked jokingly, "not cool, Quinn, not cool, not at all," I said with a straight face, I died in the fire, it wasn't a good joke, at all.
"Sorry, I didn't know it was that offensive, sorry Kota," she apologized hugging me, "it's fine, just, please don't do it again," I told her. "I love you, Kota," she told me, "I love you too," I said kissing the top of her head.
She pulled away and went on the couch, I sat next to her. She leaned on my shoulder and turned on the television. "Movie?" She asked as I put my arm around her, "sure," I answered.
After the movie we just sat there, she was asleep -as usual- and I was staring out a window. I saw some birds then I looked away. Just as I looked away, Josh, -Quinn's older brother- Grace, -her younger sister- Matt, and Jay, oh god.
"What are you doing here?" Josh asked, he knows that I was back once before, so does everyone else, but I died the day I was reunited with Quinn. "I'm sitting on the couch with Quinn, you know, your sister you're overprotective about?" I said sarcastically, "No, how are you ALIVE?" He asked, "what are you, a cop?" I answered sarcastically.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He yelled, "I live here," I answered truthfully. "No you don't, Quinn knows better then to let a Criminal into her home with open arms," he said pissed off. My wishes came true when Quinn woke up, "huh? What's going on?" She asked half asleep. "This, Criminal is in your house!" Josh nearly yelled. I knew there were be problems that won't be solved easily.
