Fighting Feelings {COMPLETED?}

Just give it time

Tiana's POV:
I couldn't stop crying. I was heart broken. He was the thing that I looked forward to when I woke up and now that's gone. We were supposed to be in this together.How could he do that to me. He said he loved me but what he just did is proving that he didn't. I keep making this mistake. I trust somebody and try to believe that they will be with me forever but they always find a way of leaving. My emotions were all over the place. I couldn't handle It and had a break down. One moment I was angry and pissed naming every swear word there was. Then I was sad, crying my eyes out. No one could fix what I was going through. A couple of hours later I decided to call Hailey and tell her to come over so I could talk to her and tell her what happened, she was the only one that I wanted to talk to at that moment. Even though it was 7 something in the morning and it was a Saturday so I know she wouldn't be woke. But I know she'll come when I tell her its important because that's just how are friendship works. If either of us really needed each other one day the other always comes no matter what we were doing. I got my phone out and went to my contacts and found her name and clicked it. It rang a few times but then I heard her sleepily voice.
"Today must be call your best friend at 7 something in the morning on a weekend day or something"
"Sorry, I know you were sleeping but I just really need you right now" I said still sniffling
"Tiana are you ok"
"No not really, which is why I need to to come over right now"
"Be over in 5"
I ended the call and set my phone back on my night stand. But then I picked it back up. I don't know why but I went on Instagram and checked Jalyn's page and on his profile it had the "🔓" symbol. It seems like he didn't waste anytime changing his status. This hurt me, it hurt me a lot. I know it shouldn't. I promised myself that I would never let myself get hurt by a boy because there just people nothing more. But its getting harder and harder to keep that promise.

A couple of minutes later Hailey rang the door bell. Tiana slugged down the stairs to the door. When she opened it, she saw how shocked her best friend was. Hailey saw that her eyes were bloodshot red and puffy, her hair was all over the place she looked like she's been cooped up in her house for a week.
"Oh no, babes what happened to you"
"My heart got ripped to shreds"
"Come here"
Tiana walked over to her best friends and started crying. They hugged each other as tight as they could.

Hailey's POV:
Tiana opened the door and I couldn't believe my eyes. Her eyes were super red and puffy her hair was messed up and everything. All I could do was comfort her at the time until she was ready to tell me what happened. A couple minutes later I guided her to the couch to sit down.
"So, do you want to tell me what happened now sweety"
"Jalyn broke up with me"
"You gotta be kidding me"
"Nope, he did"
"Did he give you a reason why he did it?"
"No, he just said oh I don't think I can handle us so we should break up blah blah blah and other bullshit like that" she says through her crying. I was pissed, nobody breaks up with my best friend with a bull shitty reason like that. But I didn't want to show her how mad I was. I wanted to be there for her and comfort her.
"Well don't worry about him right now, I'm here for you ok"

They sat there for about 3 hours. By that time it was about 11 o'clock.
"Tiana, get dressed so we can go to Starbucks, I'm not just gonna sit here and let you mope around, especially over a boy"
"But I don't wanna"
"Don't make me do something I don't wanna do"
"Oh yea, like what"she said in a teasing tone.
"Something like this"
Hailey gets up and starts tickling her.
"Haha, ok ok I'll get up and get dressed, just st st- stop haha, pleasse"
"That's what I thought" she says laughing. Tiana gets up and goes up stairs and gets ready While Hailey stays down stairs waiting for her to finish getting ready. 45 minutes later Tiana comes down the stairs.
"Damn gurlly, we ain't going to a beauty pageant"
"Haha very funny"she says sarcastically.
"Common let's go"
They both leave out the house and jump into Hailey's car. They drive to Starbucks and both order a mocha with whip cream on top. When they finish drinking them they leave and get back into the car.
"So where do you wanna go now"
"I wanna go home Hailey, I don't feel like going anywhere else"
"Oh common tiana, pleaseeee"
"No"
"Pretty please with a cherry on top"
"Ughh fine, you owe me though"
"Yayyy, ok so where do ya wanna go?"
"I really don't care to be honest"
"Let's go to the mall"
"I guess"
They drive to the mall and walk into pink. Pick out a couple outfits and jackets and then leave. They were on their way back to tiana's house. Her mother, katline, was on a business trip so she wouldn't be home for 4 to 7 days. They finally reach her house and enter. By this time it was about 8 o'clock.
"So what do you want to do now tiana"
"Go to sleep, if you don't mind" she said sarcastically
"Your no fun"she said pouting
"Well I don't know how somebody would expect me to happy when I just got my heart ripped out by the supposable love of my life"
Tiana couldn't hold it in and started crying. She had been telling her self that whole day that she was gonna be alright that's she's fine and she doesn't need him. But she couldn't keep up her happy face any longer.
"Awe babe, its gonna be ok just give it time"
She walked over to her and gave her a hug and took her to her room, layed her down, tucked her in and sat on the bed while putting her hair behind her ear and saying sweet things to her to calm her down.
"You know, you are a really good friend Hailey"
"I know, now go to sleep love"
"Ok, goodnight"

The next day went by fast. They just stayed on the tiana's house watched TV and ordered pizza. Then went to sleep. Haily stayed at tiana's house for the weekend and then Monday came.
Tiana's POV:
Beep
Beep
Beep
I was not looking forward to school today. I literally have all my classes but one with "him" who's name shall not be mentioned. I guess I'm just going to have to face the facts that he doesn't love me anymore, go to school, ignore him and not stress over it. My thoughts were soon interrupted by Hailey.

"Good morni'n sunshine"
"Good morning"
"How ya doing"
"Fine I guess"
"its gonna be ok sweet pea"
"I'll just keep telling myself that I guess"

Hailey didn't want to keep that conversation going so she just got up and grabbed the bag that her clothes were in and picked an outfit out for school and told tiana to get of her ass and start getting ready. They were done within 45 minutes, then left out the house and Hailey drove them to school. They got there but tiana didn't because her locker was right next to "his" so she just borrowed some stuff from Hailey. She was relieved that she didn't have first period with him. When her best friend was done at her locker they went to class. Shortly after the class bell rung. Everybody took their seats.

Tiana's POV:
The bell rung and everybody gathered up their stuff and left the class room and made their way towards the cafeteria. Haily and me had reached it and that's when I saw him. The one who broke my heart on Saturday and ruined my weekend and more importantly my life. I wanted to cry, I wanted to scream, I wanted to make him feel how I felt. But I held myself together and that's when he saw us and started walking towards us.
"Hey hailey"
"Hi"
I can't believe he had the nerve to say hey to Hailey like he didn't just dump her best friend, that bastard and I can't believe that she had the nerve to say hey back.
"You said hey back!?"
"Um yea, it just came out naturally"
"Do you not know what he did to me?"
"Tiana yes, I do but the "hey" just came out naturally because I'm used to saying hey to Him, you two were always around each other"
"Alright, ok I get it its fine"
