Fighting Feelings {COMPLETED?}

You what?!

School had just ended and they had walked out the class. Hailey had stopped by her locker to grab a few things. She told tiana that she can wait outside for her. While she was at her locker Jalyn had came up to her.
"Hey Hailey"
"Look, you hurt my best friend and if someone hurts her they hurt me so please leave"
"Listen I know you two probably hate me right now"
"Smh, probably"
"Can you just let me explain myself"
Hailey looks at the floor and backup Again then bits her lip. Finally she gives in.
"Fine, you have 3 minutes because Tiana is waiting for me"
"Ok, so I broke up with her because I kinda like somebody else"
"You've gotta be fucking kidding me"
"Wait hold on, let me finish"
"Whatever, fine"
"That someone is you"
She just sits there shocked but it soon turns to anger.
"Tiana is my best friend and she is the most sweetest person in the world, so why would you go out with her if you liked me, her freaking best friend, if that was the case you shouldn't have went out with her because you let her get attached to you and then you just broke her heart"
She slammed her locker and was about to walk away but Jalyn grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him and kissed her. She didn't know why but she didn't stop him. She told herself that she didn't like him but her body was saying something different. She hadn't thought about the consequence of making that decision she just made of not pulling back from the kiss that her best friends ex who broke her heart was giving her. She didn't realize how much she had just jeopardized their friendship. She hasn't realized what she just did. All she could think about was the person who was kissing her and that she wanted more of it. About 30 seconds later she pulled back.
"Why did you just do that"
"I already told you why, because I like you"
"But how could you do that to Tiana"
"Its not like I meant to hurt her"
"But you did, you could've saved her from all this hurt and pain if you would've just stayed out of her life"
"But let's not forget what you just did"
"Which is?"
"You kissed me back, how do you think your "best friend" would feel if she knew you did that"
"It was a mistake"
"Just like her, I didn't mean to hurt her"
"You know your not sorry about what you did to Tiana"
"I am, I really am"
"I'm not gonna sit here and listen to this bull shit that your telling me right now, tiana's waiting for me"
With that, she walked off without saying a word more and meet tiana outside where she was waiting for about 10 minutes.
"Where the hell were you Hailey"
"Sorry a teacher had stopped to talk to me"
"I guess it wasn't your fault, let's just go home, are you not coming to my house today?"
"Wouldn't dream of it"
"Alright, common"
They get into Hailey's car and drive to Tiana's house.
Hailey's POV:
I felt bad about keeping this from Tiana. She's my best friend and her ex just kissed me and I kissed back. I'm not supposed to like him. But I'm starting to question if I do. Tiana would hate me if she found out I did so I'm just gonna tell myself that I don't like him. And I mean hell, for all I know he could be lying. Look what he did to my best friend. I got lost in my thoughts.
"HAILEY!!!LOOK OUT"
I quickly snapped back into reality and I was on the wrong side of the road and a car was coming. Right before it hit us I swerved back to the right side of the road. God that scared the shit outta me.
"What the hell is wrong with you, you could've killed us both Hailey"
"I'm sorry I was just lost in thought"
"And what the hell could've been that important to where you lost all control over the car and almost made us crash"
"Uh, its nothing"
"Hailey stop lying to me"
"I'm not" she said twirling her hair
"I know when your lying because you always twirl your hair because you get so nervous"
Shit! I Thought. I knew I had to tell her because I knew I could never keep anything from her because we were best friends. Anything we would try to keep from one another would always come to the light no matter how hard we tried to hide it
"Ok"
"Ok what"
"I'll tell you"
I still hadn't talked for about 30 seconds.
"What's the point of saying your gonna tell someone something when you don't tell them!"
I could tell that she was getting really aggravated because she hates when people keep secrets from her.
"I think I might like jalyn"
She just sat there and said Nothing for a while.
