Fighting Feelings {COMPLETED?}

"I said that I think I might like Jalyn, I'm sorry Tiana but I can't change my feelings"
She stayed quiet but eventually spoke.
"Ik"
"Uk what?"
"I know that sometimes people can't control their feelings, your my best friend and I don't expect you to do that either, even if the guy you do like hurt me, if you like him I can't stop you from doing that"
Tiana tried as hard as she could to be understanding at that moment. No matter how much it hurt her that her best friend like him when she wasn't even completely over him.
"You know you are the most best friend anyone could ever ask for"
"I know, so do you know if he likes you too?"
"Uhh, about that"
"What's wrong?"
"He kinda kissed me for about 30 seconds and I kissed back which is what made me realized that I liked him a little"
Tiana was about ready to cry by this time. It was just hard to believe what her Best friend was telling her. How could they go behind her back and kiss without them even telling her. She knows that Jalyn isn't hers anymore but she didn't expect Hailey to do something like that.
"Oh, well that's good"
"So your good with this"
"Yea"
By that time they had reached tiana's house and got out the car and went in. They ate something and watched a little TV.
"Uh, I'm about to get in the shower and head to bed"
"But Tiana its only 7 o'clock"
"I know but I just don't feel well and I have a migraine"
"Well alright, ill be up in a minute"
Tiana's POV:
The truth is, I couldn't be by Hailey at that moment. Every time I looked at her all I thought about I what she had told me in the car. I tried my best to be happy for her because that's just the type of friend I am. But in this situation it was hard to do so. He was my weak spot. No matter how hard I tried to forget about him and convince myself I didn't need him, it didn't work. But I promised myself that I would try my best to be happy for her no matter how much it Was hard for me to bear. I went up stairs and took a hot shower, put on my pj's and jumped in the bed. I decided that I should try to get some sleep. But no matter how hard I tried my thoughts wouldn't leave my mind. I checked my phone and it was almost 10 o'clock. A little later Haily had came in my room and called out to me.
"Tiana, Tiana are you sleep?"
I didn't respond because I wanted her to think that I was sleep. I didn't feel like holding a conversation with her right now. She just sighed and said goodnight sweet pea. A little while after I heard soft snores. I knew who the were coming from. I just sat up on my bed and looked into the darkness just lost in my Thoughts. I couldn't go to sleep, no matter how hard I tried. I grabbed my phone and saw that I had a message from mom.
From:mom
Hey baby how you holding up
To:mom
I'm doing great mom can't wait till you get home
A couple minutes later I felt my phone vibrate
From:mom
That's good sweety, well I'll let you get some sleep because I know you have school tomorrow gn
To:mom
Gn mom, love you
I didn't want to tell her about what had happened because I know she had enough on her plate and I didn't want to sit there and bother her with my "teen" problems. A couple hours past and I'm still awake. I check the clock and its almost 2 in the morning. I know I need to go to sleep because of have school tomorrow but I just can't. A couple minutes later I decide to go into my moms bathroom and grab her bottle of sleeping pills. I take two then go down stairs and pour me a glass of water, take the sleeping pills and went back to lay down. Within minutes I was asleep.

"Rise and shine"
Hailey wakes Tiana up for school
"Good morning ,but can I a least sleep for about 10 more minutes?"
"No because school starts in an hour"
"Ughh fine"
They start getting ready then walk down stairs to eat some breakfast. Soon after they finish and get into Hailey's car. The two ride to school with holding little conversation. They enter the school and get their stuff out their lockers and were about to go into the class room but Then
"Hailey, hey can I talk to you"
"Uh, sure, I guess jalyn"
Tiana nods and enters the class room leaving jalyn and Hailey behind.
Hailey's POV:
"So, what do you want to talk to me about"
"I was just wondering if you wanted to go out with me"
I was silent for a good moment because I was shocked.
"Um, sure I guess, I mean since Tiana seems to be ok with it"
"So is that a yes?"
"Yea"
"Great"

He gives her a big hug and then they both leave to their classes
"So, what did he have to say to you?"
"He asked me out"
"Oh, good"
Tiana was hurt more then she's ever been hurt before and it was by her best friend and once love of her life. The sad part is her best friend didn't even realize she was doing it.
"I know right, he's amazing"
"Yea, amazing"
"Riiiinggg"
The bell rung and class started.

Class ended and they made their way to lunch. Jalyn was at the door of the cafeteria waiting for Hailey.
"Hey babe"
"Hey Jalyn"
They hugged and then entered the doors. Apparently forgetting about Tiana. She felt like she was going to be sick. She couldn't stand to see her with him. Every time she sees them together she just wants to cry. But she acted like it didn't bother her, in front of Hailey. She tried her best to be happy for her best friend. No matter how much it bothered her. School ended and the two were walking to there lockers and then they finished and were on their way out the school. Then Jalyn showed up.
"Hey sweets"
"Hey"
"Want me to take ya home"
"But that means that Tiana would have to walk home because I drove her to school today"
"I'm sure she wouldn't mind right?"
"Uh, sure, ig"
"Thanks best friend your the best"
"Yea, no problem"
Hailey and Jalyn rushed out the School. Tiana started to walk home. It was about 20 minutes away walking distance. Jalyn was taking Hailey away from her little by little and her best friend didn't even seem to notice.
Tiana's POV:
I just hope that her relationship with him doesn't ruin are friendship. I'm just tired of him taking things from me and ruining things for me.
