Just Friends? ~ (A Percabeth Story)

Chapter 1.

Annabeth's POV

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"No"

"Oh please,Annabeth?"

"I said no Percy!"

My best friend, Percy Jackson, had spent the last ten minutes trying to convince me to come to a party he was going to have at his house that was "going to be awesome."

He just doesn't understand. I don't do parties. I'd rather stay at home in my PJs eating ice cream and curled up with a good book in my room. I'm not good with socialising - or boys.

"It will be fun!" he coaxed

"Define fun"

"Annabeth,come on,it won't be the same without you."

"You don't need me there"

"No I don't but I want you there"

Annabeth froze for a second at "want you there" but didn't reply. She just ignored him.

"Fine then. Be that way. Call me if you change your mind," Percy said as he picked up his schoolbag and put it on his back.

"Don't be expecting a call then" I said in reply.

Percy looked at me with his sea green eyes and ran his hands through his thick black hair.

"See you..whenever then," he said with a sad look in his eyes.
