"I ran into Crowley," Cas told us, "he had a hell hound running after me. I tripped and it had me for a while but he, uh, he called it off."
An angel was chased by a hell hound? Why didn't he just kill it? I was sure there was an explanation so I didn't bother to ask.
"Your girlfriend here was worried sick about you," Dean told Cas. I saw Cas blushing and he looked at the floor. I tried to hold in a laugh and failed miserably. Cas looked at me and then he left again.
"Girlfriend? Really?" I looked at Dean. He was acting like a big brother.
"What? Don't you like him?" My face got red and I left the room. Sam followed me.
"Hey, sorry about that. Dean can sometimes be a little-"
"I get it. I just need to be alone for a while."
"No can do. We have to keep eyes on you at all times. I know this can be a little hard but you're just gonna have to pull through it."
"Yeah, okay. But can y'all just stay outside for a while so I can have minute. Just give me like five minutes. That's all I'm asking."
Dean walked out, "I'm going to the gas station, want anything?"
"Get me some coffee and pie," I shot at him.
He got in his car and Sam looked at me, "Five minutes!" I turned and walked inside. I sat down on the bed and I started thinking about everything that just happened. Time went by fast and Sam walked in. He sat down at his laptop and continued to work.
When Dean got back he had two slices of blueberry pie, a coffee , and more whiskey. He handed me my coffee and pie and I started eating. Cas showed up when I had finished the pie. He tried to ignore me.
"What's up Cas?" I asked. He didn't answer. He didn't even look at me. I began thinking he just didn't want to hear another comment from Dean about him liking me.
"You guys ready to leave town?" Sam asked as he started packing a bag. "Hey, AJ, where is the conditioner?"
"In the bathroom," I responded.
Dean only had a jacket to grab and we left. We got in the car and Dean started playing classic rock music. Sam told him to turn it down and he did the exact opposite. It was dark outside so I tried to sleep. It wasn't easy but I finally managed to sleep with the loud music and street lights. I didn't sleep very long. Maybe 30 minutes. When I woke up we were still driving. Dean was at the wheel, Sam was on the passenger side, Cas was behind Sam, and I was behind Dean. Cas was still ignoring me. I wrote a note to him on an old receipt that said:
What's up?
I folded it up and handed it to him. He opened it up and read it. He sighed and looked at me for the first time in two hours. He wrote something on it and handed it back to me. It said:
You are beautiful
When I read it I blushed. I looked at him and mouthed the word, "really?" What if he was lying? He might of just been saying that to mess with me. Cas left, again. Sam and Dean had no idea what had just happened. I'm glad they didn't. I laid down across the whole back seat, rock music blasting, and tried to sleep again. When I woke up we were in another town and it was day time.
"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty," Dean said jokingly. I looked at my reflection in the window glass and my hair was crazy. I quickly tried to put it up in a pony tail. I sat up and we were pulling into another motel.
