"Piper?" She called me, unsure.

It really is Lilienne Altamirano. Seeing her here in flesh makes me feel different emotions that I've been holding back for the past 8 years.

"Lilienne..." My voice stone cold.

"A-are you... Riguel's client? A-are you fine?" Her voice is quivering while undefined emotions stirs her eyes.

"No... I'm one of the secretaries of this firm."

Still bothered by her presence, I started to head out.

"Zarah, babalik na lang ako mamaya kung wala nang kliyente si Riguel." Ani ko at aambang aalis na.

"Piper, let's talk." Mabilis na wika ni Lilienne. Ang kanyang mga mata ay tila ba nagsusumamo na pakinggan siya.

"Wala na tayong dapat pag-usapan pa, Lilienne!" Mariing wika ko.

Umiling siya. Nagbabadya na ang luha sa kanyang mga mata. What's with her now? Why is she acting like she's not the one who inflicted pain on me?

"Let's talk, please. I have so many things to say... Please, Piper."

Binalewala ko na lamang ang mga sinabi niya at naglakad papalayo. Why would I listen to her? At para saan pa? Para ipamukha saakin na nakuha na niya si Riguel? Oh, I don't think so.

"Piper, please!" Hinawakan niya ang aking braso ngunit marahas kong binawi iyon at hinarap siya.

"I said, Lilienne, wala na tayong dapat pag-usapan pa!" Sigaw ko sakanya.

"We need to talk about Yeshua–"

I scoffed. "About your twin who left me without a word? About your brother who hurt me so much, Lilienne? Bakit? Asan na siya ngayon? May pamilya na? Anong gusto mong pag-usapan natin? " I gritted my teeth. "I don't care about Yeshua, anymore. It's been years, Lili, kaya wala na tayong dapat pag-usapan!"

"Please, Piper. Let's set a date. I have so many things to say. We need to talk!" Tumulo na ang luha niya.

I clench my fists. I so hate myself right now.

Natagpuan ko na lamang ang sarili ko na papasok sa restaurant. Napatayo agad siya, acknowledging my presence. She's wearing a boyfriend jeans and a white sleeveless shirt. She looks stunning kahit na napakasimple nang kanyang suot.

Lumapit agad ako sakanya at umupo sa upuan sa harap niya.

I called the waiter and ordered a glass of wine. As soon as the waiter came back with my wine, I broke the silence between us.

"So, you married him?" I asked coldly.

Tumango siya. I scoffed.

"Paano? Bakit kayo nagpakasal?"

"Niyaya niya akong magpakasal. Alam mo namang..." She trailed off. Hilaw siyang tumawa after that.

"Really? I doubt that, Lilienne. Ibig mong sabihin, after eight years of no communication at all? Uuwi ka rito at magpapakasal kayong dalawa?" tuya ko sakanya.
