- Luke -
We stood there kissing each other's lips. I don't know how long we were there for; it had turned dark now and there wasn't a single person in sight. I focused back on the man who was passionately caressing my lips and thought to myself I NEED to stop this, I didn't even know his name or know any damn thing about him. I moved my hands onto his chest and started to push. He didn't budge so I pushed again, this time a lot harder. He fell back but managed to catch his feet and firmly stand in front of me (around a meter away). I cleared my throat and was about to ask his name but with a blink of an eye he had vanished, like there was nothing there. I frowned in confusion and started to walk home and thought to myself who was that boy?- Home -
I sat on my bed and let my mind wander. It leant me back on that guy, I have so many questions who was he?, why did he kiss me?, why did he leave without saying anything? I lay on my bed and looked up to the ceiling in confusion. All these questions I have and none of them answered. I frowned, I wish I knew who he was. Knock, knock, knock I heard from my door. I snapped my head towards it and softly answered "come in". My sister peeped her her through "mom said dinners done" she said blandly with a blank expression. "Okay, I'll be down now" I said lazily. She left to go back downstairs. I stood up; closed my eyes and tried to block out all my feelings and thoughts towards this guy. I trailed down the stairs, past the living room; into the kitchen. I saw my family sat at the dining table, staring at their food blankly not saying a single word or even looking at each other. I sat next to my sister and I could feel the tension building up. I sat there and felt so awkward (everyone did). I finally spoke up "why's everyone so quiet?" I said curiously. My dad looked at me with a frown "you mean you don't know?" He said surprisingly. I looked at him, now frustrated because now I didn't know why everyone was so quiet and didn't know what had happened. "Tell me!" I said with a sharp tone and an unsettled face. "Crimson (our dogs name) has passed away" my mom said with a soft tone and a shaky voice. I felt my heart sink "what?" I said with a very shaky voice and a sad expression with tears building in my eyes. I pushed my plate away from me and quickly stood from the table and rushed as fast as I could into my bedroom. Why was this happening to me? Why me at all? What have I done to deserve this? I thought to myself; now crying on my bed with my knees tucked into my face balling my eyes out. "Why?" Was the last thing I said that night.- The next morning -
I woke up that morning with a clear head and was grateful for that. I heard my door open and my sister entered. "Have you ever heard of knocking?" I joked. She looked at me with a stern and serious face. "Woah what's got your knickers in a twist". I laughed. "I'm going to a party tonight. Don't tell mom or dad. Got it!" She said with a firm tone and almost angry like expression. "Okay but why are you telling me?" I said curiously. She sighed "Because I know we have this freaky twin connection thingy between us and if I didn't tell you, you would either feel it or see it. If that happens without me telling you, you would probably tell them where I was. That's why I told you". "Okay. I won't tell them" I said honestly and happily. Lynn smiled at me and then walked out rather cheery. I got dressed and went down stairs and waited for Amelia to come knocking on my door so we could walk to school, like we do every day.- School -
I walked into this horrid place with my friends Amelia and Jake clinging to each of my arms. We went straight for our lockers. They were all next to each other. Jake was the "jock" of my little group if you want to stereotype names. He was a footballer so he was quite muscular and tall. Around 6'0, so bigger than me. He had to go to a meeting with his coach about something, I didn't ask for details due to the fact I wasn't one for sports. He gave both me and Amelia a wave and then walked off. Amelia on the other hand was more my type of friend considering we had more in common than I did with Jake. She was an aspiring fashion designer so she had to look good no matter what the occasion was. She was quite short around 5'6, a midget actually. "Hey Amelia" I said softly and quietly. "Ye" she replied. "I need to tell you something. I didn't want to tell you in front of Jake because I know he would feel uncomfortable". "Luke. Spit it out already" she said eagerly. "Yesterday. When you and Jake left to go home after school. Something happened". I said wearily. "Come on, come on I'm dying to know now". "Woah, woah your gonna attract a crowd. Calm down". "Fine but hurry up I need to know" she whispered. "I got up to leave when someone grabbed me and threw me against the wall which shocked me. And within a his and my lips were connected". Amelia's eyes widened and continued to make the shape of an "O" with her mouth in shock. "SOMEBODY KISSED YOU AND YOUR WAITING TO TELL ME THIS NOW AND IT WAS A BOY!". She screamed. Good thing everyone was off in their own conversations to notice or even care what she said. "Keep your voice down M jeez" I said as I looked around while panicking. "Sorry" she whispered. "Tell me more I need to know more" she said with her eyes sparkling with joy while jumping up and down. I sighed "We were by the wall kissing for ages! It felt like it would never end" I moaned. "Well was he good, did you like it, who was he?". She said hurriedly. I replied "yes, yes and I don't know". She frowned "what do you mean you don't know?". She said curiously. "I mean I don't know". "Well we need to find him. I need to meet this mysterious boy" she said with a mischievous smirk. "No, it's my problem I need to deal with it" I said sharply. "Fine but when you do I want to meet him and I want details" she smirked. "You'll be the first to know" I laughed. And with that I watched her walk off to her first lesson. I grabbed the books I needed from my locker and then closed it and proceeded to my first lesson.- Later -
I had a free period now but Jake and Amelia didn't. I sat on a far bench in front of my school by myself. Just doodling. "Yo" I heard a voice say. I jumped up in fright. Panting in fright I said "fuck, don't scare me like that". "Sorry" she mumbled . "Anyway who are you?" I asked. "I'm a mysterious person roaming on your territory" she joked with a serious face. "Seriously. I mean your name". I said with a "are you stupid" tone. "I know. I just thought it would be funny". She said. "Well what's your name?" I said quickly losing my patients. "Luna" she said with a smile on her face. "Luna, huh, that's an odd name. My names Luke". "Nice to meet you Luke" she said with a chirpy tone. "So, you knew here" I asked. "Yep; first day" she said. "I can show you around if you want" I offered nicely and hopefully. "Sure, that would be nice" she said happily. "So. Why are you out here by yourself" she asked. "I have a free period and my friends have classes" I said. "You wanna go grab some lunch. We got ages until next lesson" she asked hopefully. "I dunno" I replied with. "Come on. Please I'm starving" she begged. "Alright then" I chuckled.- Later in the evening -
I hadn't seen Jake or Amelia for the rest of the day since I went off with Luna. We hit it off instantly. She was my new friend. I didn't want to go home yet. So I lay on the grass in the park. Luna went home quite a while ago. I lay there peering up to the beautiful night sky. Just relaxing until my mind found its way back to the guy who was stuck in my mind. I actually forgot about him when I was with Luna. I lay there just thinking until I had this strange feeling that someone was watching me. I jumped up on my feet; looking around me. I noticed something In the distance. I focused my eyes on it and noticed it looked like a pair of blood red eyes. I thought they were human eyes but when I stared even closer I noticed they were more ANIMALISTIC! I started to panic. I ran, I ran as fast as I could getting faster and faster. I looked behind me and saw that the red eyes had started chasing me. I wanted to scream but nothing came out. I was petrified, I wished it would just go away. My legs began to weaken and I started to lose my breath. I couldn't run anymore. I was done for, going to be killed or eaten alive by a vicious animal. The animal came charging at me increasing its speed. I stood there expecting to die. The animal was inches away form my face. That's when I felt an arm grab my wrist and tug my body towards them. My eyes squinted in shock; I opened them and looked up to the person who saved me. It was "That Boy".
