"That Boy" (Unfinished)

"A dark secret revealed"

- Luke -
My cheeks were a bright rosy red. My heart began to beat faster and faster. I was being consumed by a passion I had never felt before. It was exhilarating. The most wonderful feeling that I have experienced in a long time. That's how I felt last night when Mike snuck into my bedroom, took me into his arms and kissed me with his gorgeous lips, treating them like they were the most fragile thing in the world. That was truly one of the best feelings of my life.

- Morning -
Mike left late last night. I offered him the chance to stay but he wouldn't. He said he was afraid he'd take advantage of me, which I understand- you'd know what I mean if you saw the way he looks at me. I heard a loud knock at the door, I jumped at the sound and quickly rushed to my door. I swung the door open only to see a friend I hadn't had seen for ages. "Luna? What are you doing here?," I asked curiously. "We haven't spoke in ages and I thought it was a good idea to catch up," she said with a cheerful tone and a small grin. "Oh... come In then" I said hesitantly. "Can we go for a walk instead? I fancy going for a stroll..." "Okay then. Let me go put some shoes on," I replied with. I put a pair of shoes on and headed out the door; closing it behind me. "Where we going then?" I asked. "Don't know. Let's just pick a direction and walk," she shrugged. "Okay, lets go this way." I pointed in the direction of the tall dark trees which seemed to never end. "Alright then but if we get lost it's on you," she giggled with a small grin.

- Few hours later -
"Sorry I haven't talked with you much. I've just had a lot of stuff to deal with," I said with a deep frown and a blank expression. "Stuff?," she questioned. I turned my head towards hers and met her eyes "Lately my life has become pretty... complicated... and I've been struggling to sort it all out." She lowered her head and gave a small frown. "Complicated? Is there anything I can help with?" I contemplated in my head weather or not I should tell her what's going on. We haven't grown that close. I've only known her for a short while but... my thoughts became interrupted when I heard a loud snap! Both me and Luna jerked our heads towards the sound then each other. "What the hell was that!?," I exclaimed. "Shush, maybe if we keep quiet it'll go away," she said with a hushed but serious tone. "And if it doesn't?," I asked again. Luna replied with a frown. I gulped and took a deep breath, preparing myself for the worst. I focused deep into the bushes from where the sound came from and made out two blood red shapes which seemed to look like a pair of eyes. Hmm, they look familiar I thought to myself but I couldn't quite grasp what they reminded me of. "GET BEHIND ME!," Luna demanded. "ARE YOU CRAZY? I CANT DO THAT. I WON'T DO THAT. YOUL'L DIE!," I replied with. She moved her head towards me and gave a forced smile, "Don't worry il'l be fine. Just do as I say," "LUNA DON'T BE STUPID!," this time I said with a more serious tone. "LUKE DO AS I SAY NOW!," she ferociously growled, sending a shiver racking down my spine. I bowed my head in defeat, obliging to what she said, knowing full well that this argument is going nowhere and will probably end up getting both of us killed. I shifted my body behind hers in a defensive stance. Why does she want me to stand behind her? I'm clearly stronger than her and we would have more of a chance of surviving if we were fighting side by side. It didn't make sense... without warning I was sent flying into a tree directly behind me. "Ahh," I exclaimed from the pain of the fall. I shook off the blur which consumed my eyes and focused back on the fight happening before my eyes. I saw the thing that had knocked me back and I was instantly overwhelmed in horror, another one?, where were these monsters coming from?, why did they always seem to be after me? I had so many questions and so little answers. I shook my head to release myself of all these questions and focused all my attention back on the fight. "LUNA, RUN, YOUR'E NO MATCH FOR IT. YOU WILL DIE!," I screamed as loud as I could but it was no use, she was too focused on the beast to even notice me. I was about to cover my face with my hands when I noticed Luna kneel down on all fours, in an animal position. I focused my gaze onto Luna, confused on what the hell she was doing. Luna raised her head to meet the eyes of the evil being. Luna's eyes changed into a glowing red colour- similar to the beast before her. I hadn't had time to react when I heard bones cracking. I gasped when I looked at my friend and saw that her whole body was changing, her bones snapping and forming into different places, the structure of a human was now of an animals! I tried to look away but my eyes seemed to be glued to Luna, unable to look away. I was already shocked and terrified by what was happening; struggling to breathe, I started to panic. What the hell is Luna doing?, what the hell is happening to her?, WHAT THE HELL IS LUNA? With these thoughts wandering around my mind, I went back to staring at Luna and saw that she had started TO GROW FUR?! At this point I was ready to just pass out and forget all about what was happening. All of a sudden I saw Luna become engulfed by a huge cloud of smoke and emerge out AS THE SAME CREATURE THAT STOOD BEFORE HER! A HUGE AND DESTRUCTIVE WOLF! I examined Luna's new 'form' and could make out that her fur was black; blacker than the night sky, her eyes were as evil and dark as the opposing wolf.

- Luna P.O.V -
I knew it was too soon but I couldn't hold off any longer. It was either it or us. I tried to warn it to back off; it wasn't listening so I had to change. I loved the feeling of the change, it was like being one with nature; feeling the grass beneath my bear feet, the wind brush across my face like a warm and inviting blanket. When my eyes change it's like I can see the world in a new light; indescribable. The only pain I feel is the cracking of the bones but it's a good pain. Finally, all the pain and torture I graciously endured had ended and I was on all fours, teeth blazing and glaring towards my enemy. I fixed my eyes onto it's figure and adjusted my stance, ready to kill at any time. I noticed that the opposing wolf had adjusted it's stance as well, hunching it's back into a defensive yet offensive stance as well. I narrowed my eyes at it, signalling it to back off or be ready for an attack. We stared for a while, each waiting for the other to make a move. I had only blinked for a second when I felt his large and overwhelming body tower over mine, forcing me into an uncomfortable position causing me to give out a slight whimper. It must have heard me since it grew a sick narcissistic grin. I growled as a warning for it to back off, but of coarse it didn't listen, he just started to grow more and more aggressive. My eyes finally trailed back to meet my enemies, it started to raise its mouth as if it were about to bite me. I realised it was going in for the kill and a sudden burst of adrenaline flooded through my body. I regained control of my limbs and decided it was enough, it was time for me to show who's the dominant one in this fight. My eyes were now boiling with red and my fangs were as sharp as a freshly carved blade. My growl turned into a ferocious scowl as I pierced my sharp fangs into it's neck. I plunged my head back and revealed a narcissistic smile. I looked back into it's eyes which were still as red as a blood thirsty predator. With all my force I pushed it off my body and flying into a tall, and stocky tree, causing it to whimper and struggle to it's overbearing paws. I stiffened my position and gripped my paws onto the ground; sharpening my claws I forced myself off the ground and landed on all fours, creating a large circle of dust around my body, and into the eyes of my opponent. I emerged fiercely from the cloud of dust surrounding the area, and stood strongly on my paws; glaring, I looked down at my now trembling foe, I raised my claw and swiped down with my sharp claws, digging into it's skin and making it bleed. I was going to strike again, but without warning My hind legs were struck down, forcing my body to thump to the ground, making me squint a little. I stood back up only to be slammed back down again. My body couldn't take this much more, I thought. I could see the opposing wolf glare and grind its teeth at me, like it was getting ready to finish me off! I squeezed my eyes closed tightly, knowing that this is going to be the end, THE END OF MY LIFE!

My heart stopped for a moment as my memories, friends, and family came rushing to my brain. It was kind of like that made up thing people say; 'your life flashes before your eyes,' that cliché thing that all people say, personally I think it's fake, I mean, seriously? Come on, you can't believe that, can you? I lay there pondering for a moment until realisation kicked in. Wait... why hasn't it attacked yet? I opened my eyes in in shock to see the wolf with its paw still up, now quivering in fear. I lay in front of this gigantic wolf, my body vulnerable and tiny compared to my enemies, I looked into it's eyes and saw that it's pupils were dilated and looked as if they were going to cry. I could see by the look on his face and how its jaw was shaking all over the place that it had regretted the decision to try and KILL ME!

As I stared deeper into it's eyes I had soon realised the reason... the reason why...

- Luke P.O.V -
I looked back at my new friend in disbelief, I can't get over the fact that 'Luna,' was a FREAKING WEREWOLF! My eyes widened in shock, and it seemed that I was unable to look away, not even blink. Honestly, I'm still coming to terms with the fact that the guy who recently told me he loved me was a vampire, now I got to deal with this? I thought to myself frustratingly. Come to think of it, I wonder if Amelia and Jake are supernatural creatures too...

I looked back towards the fight and to my surprise, I noticed they had both stopped trying to kill each other. Wow that was weird to say... I shook off the thought and focused back on the fight? At least I thought it was anyway...
